I'm sure we'll have a recognizably African LI in the future, especially as we move north where it's more diverse. It's just not Vivienne.

I really don't think it's 'cause she's black. Vivienne's original concept ("Social Butterfly") was a white woman, and there's no reason to think she was romanceable then either. She's always been elegant and cultured and out of reach. Meanwhile, elegant and cultured and within reach = Josephine.
Josephine doesn't have a sex scene in her romance, so N7Phantom wants nothing to do with her's.

Hey I'm not going to lie I do want to have physical relations with Josie with my male Inquisitor, but noooo not even a Latin sensation. Bunch of selective jerks. If BioWare have romance interests they might as well make sex scenes for ALL characters.

If that's not the issue then why they didn't make Vivienne a romance option @ the Trespasser DLC as an opportunity for players to romance her? Same answer: Because she's a black woman.

No, it isn't. It's not because of race color.

There is a selective jerk here, but it's not Bioware.
Not everyone in the real world has sex at that point in a relationship, so why should all of Bioware's romances have a sex scene? Besides which you can have physical relations with her if you choose to, it just occurs in your head. Chances are your head can create much better scenes than Bioware anyway.

No, the answer is because it didn't fit her character and the story they wanted to tell with that character.

Because that was an epilogue, the end of the game. In the main game the romances are developed over time and they all involve romance specific quest content. That was beyond the scope of Trespasser.

It is. If it's not they would've made her a LI in the first place like everyone else. And she's the only playable female character is not a love interest, which rubs me as suspicious.

That's just an excuse (and a horrible ass lie) to say why that Vivienne isn't LI material because of "they don't fit her character". Trans: We don't want to make a black woman a romance interest because we don't want no one to have her. Jerks. Hence the saying " Look but don't touch."

You can believe that if you want. You're objectively wrong, but you can believe that.
But let me ask you something: If Bioware has a vendetta against making black women romancable, why is there a black female LI in SWTOR?

They could've put her as a LI. They just don't want to.

No. Vivienne doesn't seem to like the Inquistor in that... way. I can see why XD

OK I never played the game and I just heard about a black woman as a LI so I can't say much. But if they did it on the Star Wars why not on Dragon Age?

Also, not all female characters are romanceable (Wynne and Aveline).
