She's the only playable female character that's not a romance option in DA:Inquisition, writers said they don't want her to be a LI because they want her to fit in the story without being an LI (lame ass excuse), and write it to not for her to be a romance option by set it up for her to push players away to not be able to pursue her. Shayle Cadash (back to her squishy self) for companion and LI in DA4! I mean, wasn't she going to head to Tevinter to look into it?! (I'll admit, I don't recall her ultimate fate in Asunder.)

 

Also, that's rather unfair toward Cole. The human version does find romance in Trespasser.

There are a few companions you can't romance in each game - Wynne, Loghain, Oghren and Shale in DAO, Aveline and Varric in DA2 and Vivienne, Cole and Varric again in DAI. (Obviously you can't romance your siblings or your dog either, but I don't think anyone sensibly expected that.)

 

In several cases, it's because they're interested in someone else. Nothing especially unusual about Vivienne being unavailable.

Uhm... there were quite a few people bemoaning the fact that Bethany wasn't a romance option. All right, I suppose it wasn't directly tied to incest, but rather that she was nice and cute, and people wanted someone like that as an LI over the two ladies we got in DA2.

Want non-human and mages li females for non-humans and mages males Inquisitors, even and i kinda like the idea of racegated LI like Solas, now wait for such in DA4

But if you're simply referring to a dark haired man, then I suppose Blackwall does fit that description. I was quite surprised that we finally got two (and a half if you consider that Bull has dark stubble) dark haired men as LI in DAI after having none in the previous two games.

I forget and not care about facial atributes exept that i dislike baldness-short haires and to manly-square faces what we now have, for me it is always in 90% only if he/she is non-human?, mage? and non-andrastian? for what she stand for and fight with whom?

 

So i not really care about hairs and that stats, only for their race, mage-nonmage. religion and their ideals, for what he/she stands

Man, I wish he was a dwarf LI. There's even concept art of a dwarf Grey Warden for Inquisition, but we got Blackwall instead. Alas, having a beard and being a Grey Warden does not make you a dwarf. (And what does being a Warden have to do with it, anyway? The only dwarf Wardens we've ever met are Oghren and Sigrun and the dwarf PCs from Origins, all dependent on player choice.)

 

I mean, Blackwall is still my favourite Inquisition LI of all the ones whose romances I've played so far, but I would have loved him more if he'd been BioWare's first dwarf romance .
