Coming at the ME1 game import question from a different angle, here. I've been thinking about buying an Elite. Obviously, I can start ME2 on my old one, and play for a while, creating new ME2 saved games.

This leads me to a couple of questions:

1) If I start ME2 on my existing Xbox with 20GB HDD can I copy my ME2 game saves over to the Elite with an MU and then start playing there?

2) If I move my ME2 saves over to a new Xbox via MU, will all my DLC move with it? Such as special armor and weapons that come with the game at start, the Cerberus Network, etc? If not, I guess I should unlock all that stuff only after I get a new Xbox.

Just want to make sure I don't screw anything up.

You can move all of your DLC, but there might be problems with transferring the licenses. If your console is always hooked up to XBL, then there should be no problem. Otherwise you'll have to try talking to Xbox support and getting your licenses tranferred... which is no fun...

You can use an HDD transfer kit AFAIK: This will just transfer your current HDD to a new one with everything as it is right now. I never used it so I don't know more about it. But xbox support is a good idea.

Transfer your gamertag's licenses from an old Xbox to a new one.
