Ok I really should have looked into this abit more before ranting...this tapestry is fine, maybe even better than save importing as you can make changes. Still gonna do a couple more runs especially in DA2 just to remember the context of a lot of the choices available in the tapestry

Although ihave noticed that some things don't carry into the tapestry when you choose a character....like romances

No choices import to the tapestry, you have to choose them all yourself.

hmm, then why do they let you pick an old character...is it just for the name?

Nope. Not even that! The Warden doesn't appear in DA:I, and we're told that Hawke (who does) will be customisable in-game.

At the moment, the only "benefit" of having your characters "sync" (i.e. appear) in the Keep is that it makes your Tapestry feel a little more personalised. Whether it will ever mean anything more than that, we don't know. Bioware clearly have plans for the Keep to be more than it is now, but we don't know what they are!

I get you...well im kinda confident for DAI...not confident enough to pre-order, Bioware's screw up with the ME3 lie fiasco means Ill wait until its reviewed, if the reviews are good Ill get it sooner rather than later...

Everything should be fine....DA2 was good (repetitive scenery aside), fortunately ive managed to avoid what is said to be ingame so I shouldn't have my hopes raised too high.

Its all a question of whether BW will learn from what we said about DA2/ME3

The review embargo ends at midnight PST.  So, it's in about 7 hours...

kotaku is non-spoilery as he wants more time to play before reviewing properly
