To assume gamer's don't work out is as silly as saying people who work out don't game. Just because we don't plaster selfies of ourselves flexing in a mirror don't think we don't exercise. I have to be in shape for work, but honestly I do it for myself. Cut and dry you either lift the weight or you can't. No outside factors, no wishy washy excuses it's the purest form of self. It's my therapy that cuts through the daily bullsh*t. Oh and I'm a gamer too.
Why don't more gamers work out?

Better question is, why do you care what other people get up to, OP?

Generally I only exercise seriously during the summer, it's not fun going outside for run in -40 weather or just going outside for anything really. Honestly though I kinda hate working out because I never seem to gain any mass, I'm only good for cardio...damn you metabolism!

Do you adjust your food intake accordingly? Maybe your diet lacks protein? You can work your butt off, if you don't eat enough of the right stuff you'll never get any gains.

A normal, healthy diet provides enough protein to gain muscle. People's obsession with consuming lots and lots of protein if they want to gain muscle mass is pretty pointless. Only if you're going for extremes you might want to consider changing the proportion of protein in your diet. If you exercise a lot you tend to eat slightly more as well, and usually this compensates more than enough for the extra protein that is needed to build muscle. If anything, you should take care to consume enough carbohydrates. All those proteins won't be used for muscles if they get burned during the workout itself.

That, or small 'ahem'. the P.Ts with big egos, and attention seeking ones always seem to have a small package. I mean they wear short tight training pants,so you can tell most times.
What's worse are those people who make attacks on others due to compensation. I wonder what yours is? Assuming its a lack of exercise. If you want, I can shoot you a beginner plan for toning.
Youre welcome

Hmm yeah I suppose when I think about I don't get that much protein in my diet, usually it's mainly fruits/veggies, grains and a small amount dairy products. In my house we just don't have that much meat in our diet, maybe I should use protein powder but that stuff is expensive :/

When did I ever say lifting? I said exercise, which includes those. You naturally assumed I was talking about lifting.
Sure I did. I don't have pics on but if I did I bet yours would be your six pack.
EDI: That was a joke.

I was more talking about the amount of calories and less about the protein, most people make the mistake that they just continue with their normal diet (- calories) and then wonder why they don't get any gains. Weight lifting doesn't burn a lot of calories compared to cardio, its just that the muscles themselves burn calories continuously 24/7, even when you are sleeping.
Most diets have a good protein intake, forget supplements. I, however, had to up my protein intake and add one extra meal when I hit a plateau, and my diet is good.
I juist thought I'd mention that. 90% of ''hardgainers'' simply don't eat right.

However, This thread has become more of a personal pissing contest than an internet argument. I don't see it amusing anymore. But it's up to BWMod02.
