I know Mike Laidlaw said that "Players will be able to have Hawke look appropriate/gender via customization."
But (without asking for story spoilers) could anyone elaborate on this? Or is there any other information on how this will be handled?
Like will we be able to customize Hawke's physical appearance in Inquisitions' character creator or....?
I saw on their video today what looked like a customized hawke. I only knew it was hawke because of the champion armor. I don't have link but you can check out the dragon age facebook page and look at their newest video.
Thee have been shots of male and female Hawkes in two of the trailers. I saw Male Hawke in the most recently released one, a long shot near the end. FemHake was in one of the early ones, but it was a quick glimpse. I'm guessing it'll just be default Hawke male or female.

So you really think we're gonna be stuck with the default? Really wishing I hadn't obsessed over my Hawke's appearance so much. Hmmmm...come to think of it, just using the default might be a good thing. Don't need to obsess a second time after all.
They already said, you be able to customize returning characters such as Hawk or the Warden.
