Ok so i was going through videos and i saw this.

Lets start off in DA:O i would tell one of my npc to attack a mob. Well they would hit it and go attack some thing else that argo them.

Major no no in my book. When i want one of my npcs to attack something i want them to stay on it till they kill it.

I just saw one of your videos and i think you told sera to attack a mob then she ran off to kill an other. This is going to make life a major pain for most players. You are going off this whole barrier thing instead of healing. RIGHT well how are we going to keep us buffed when our npcs get argo and go after something we don't want them to. MAJOR PAIN.

So please just make it so when we tell one of our npcs to attack a mob they stay on it. If our npcs go off attacking mobs that argo them then this is just going to be a pain, To keep every one alive.

I've never had this issue, but then it's always been the case that I disable basically every AI tactic. I think that so long as you allow the AI to do anything, it will run its own script in preference to any immediate instruction.

I disabled tactics for DA:O and still had this issue. It was a major suck. I would tell dog to attack some one just to have him run off to kill something else. With and with out Tactics it all ways happen.

Did you play on the Window/PC or Console just wandering.

This is not a minor issue i would have npc run so far away from the group. That with out healing spells it was a wipe. This is of cores on Windows:PC. You have no idea how much of a pain that was. To have your tank or good dps, Just run across the map to kill something you never told them to attack. This is a major pain i don't think a lot of people that didn't play on Windows:PC under stand.

With out heals to heal that one npc and players at the same time. Well i'll just say it's something PS4/Xbox one user are just going to have to get use too. When you have a whole party wipe because your fellow npc party members run off to places you didn't tell them to go.

I played on PC. Are you sure you had this issue while disabling the behaviour? I haven't played DA:O in a while though. I may have combined the disabling of tactics with the hold button. I think I did that in DA2.

I'm sure and you probably had the the disable move key on for the DA:O. Because i had npcs in my group running all over the place.

tactics I found never worked great in DA:O I set them to use potions and I run out. Tell them to use auras on me and they never did. Not entirely fussed about them

That said I never had my companions run away from me

Yeah i've never had this problem with DA:O on PC either. It should be noted that I always use the advanced tactics mod so that might have something to do with it, although I don't really see how it would.
