She may very well turn out to be a self-serving wretch but she sure did earn her spot on my team with that vid. It was already a pretty even toss-up for me between the three mages but unless I see something more bad ass out of Dorian or Solas between now and launch, Viv is a lock for me (on the first playthrough at least).

Why are none of these videos in 1080p anymore, is the game not going to be 1080p?

Considering we already know she dislikes the mage rebellion... it still seems extremely out of place. She was supposed to be a shrewd aristocrat type, not a storm chasing adrenaline junkie.

@Applepie_Svk: So, are you saying that you won't work with her because what she wants doesn't benefit you at all?
I am saying is that the Inquisition has the most important role and not doing a homework for someone who simply would not come till it´s not beneficial for her own agenda.

her standing about mage uprising is more opinion of politician than mage, she is most likely to be that sort of companion which will have some sceletons in closet, but not personal as much as her own political ambitions. From what I could see so far, I think that she is most likely threat to Inquisition than benefit, she simply does not do things which won´t benefit her at all, that´s why I won´t work with her...
Hmm interesting. I don't think many of our characters join up purely out of completely altruistic intentions:
Sera wants to rebel against the man, Cassandra is doing it out of loyalty to Justinia and wanting revenge, Solas is doing it in order to learn more about the fade and the rifts, Iron Bull is spying for the Qunari, Dorian is trying to overturn the status Quo in Tevinter, Varric would rather be home in Kirkwall, Blackwall as a GW recruiter is trying to help the wardens, and who knows what cole is up to, other then trying not to kill people so they remember him.

From what we have gathered she believes in reforming the circles, she is against the idea of rebelling and the bloodshed it brings. However,

Joke is that one of the key conflicts is going to be mage/templar war, and solving that with her in presence could be rather tricky...

Applepie_Svk: Interesting - because she seems to drop every consideration once she sees the Breach and says: "There are more important things to attend to."
I think people are taking the smirk at the end way out of context - and it might be breaking the fourth wall a little bit saying: "We're gonna have fun, you and I." to the player.
And her being ambitious doesn't mean she's going to undermine the Inquisition in any way.

Not really. As I said she has a relationship with Fiona the head of the mages. Also she can be seen as a middleground person.
She is no more a possible handicap to that then an apostate(solas) or a Magister(Dorian) would be for the templar side of things.

It could also mean many other things, I don´t like to point out to real world tragedies, but when crap hit the fan, politicians are first to drop bomb by saying many emotional things and in the end it serves their agenda.

Bit of a snoozefest. I would have preferred a Dorian trailer, now he's the real badass mage of the party.

The consensus seems to be that this was created separate from the game.
Maybe, though, I'm not so sure after looking at some of the gameplay videos. If I'm not mistaken, there seems to be two in both places. That begs the question if it was set off in each country, which would make sense if the Elder one wants the fade to come to Thedas entirely.

??? Halamshiral and the winter palace are at the foot of the frostback mountains-where haven is located- there is only one breach.

One of the videos showed one in Orlais, as well.
