One of the videos showed one in Orlais, as well.
The Breach can be seen from many places in Orlais, but it's sorta on the border, where the Temple of Sacred Ashes is.
There are mini rifts everywhere, though.

I thought they weren't doing any CGI trailers at all?

No it didn't. There is only one breach with lots of mini rifts.
There are multiple negotiations but yes, the ones he is probably referring to are C and G. Orlais has no authority over the templars and mages.
Yeah, plus the Mage and Templar negotiation was happening in the temple where the breach happened. My theory is that there are circle mages who are still loyal and not involved in rebellion and that Viv is pretty much their leader. She could be representing them in a negotiations about the civil war because even though the mage rebellion is a separate issue it is still relevant to Orlais what with Orlais being where the Chantry is based. The rebellion was part of the reason why Celene was losing so much of her support in TME.
Bad...ass....
They should really do one of these for each companion. That would help hype me even more (not that I need it). I mean, Varric is a know quantity from DA2, so putting out a trailer for him seems pointless but appreciated for the fan-service. Iron Bull is looked forward too, but I want to see a Dorian trailer. He's been under represented I feel and he has a lot of cool factor that I feel has been over looked.
I always saw Viv, as perhaps the weakest of the characters.....
I want her. Now. ![]()
I was really hoping seeing her in motion would change my mind, but No.
There is something about her design that I find so off putting.
As far as this little character trailer goes, it was very good. Proper use of a barrier/arcane shield was a nice touch.
Dam I wish it was possible to romance her.
That dude talking to her was totally going "NOTICE ME SENPAI"
So ... can we anticipate a companion trailer every day until launch? ![]()
I was intrigued by her reaction actually.
There is a massive explosion coming from a place you know people are negotiating, Templars and Mages, with their Heads over there. I assume there were other negotiations at the palace she was in.
Your reactions is to have a barrier ready, and smirk since you thought of a chance, without even a hint of surpise.
I can only give 4 possible explanations to this:
1) She was expecting it, because she knows something we don't.
2) She was expecting the rebels to do something stupid, and assumed that was the case, so she thought of it as a chance of sorts again.
3) She is a seasoned veteran in fights and disasters in a battlefield, and nothing passes through to her emotionally any more. I thought of her more as a "politician", althought we have no idea of her past.
4) She was hyped in an "anime" style, since that kind of reaction is predominant there(in anime). All Hell breaks loose, and people-"badasses", of sorts- usually smile and smirk, saying "Finally it starts to get interesting!".
I CANT BREATHE
ZOMMMMMMGGGGGG
@Mornmagor: I think it's a mix up of 2/3/4.
We have to remember that she's a Knight Enchanter - that means she's had specialized training other mages have never received. As for the Barrier - I think she's just trained to react quickly. As for her smirk... that's just all BAD ASS.
I was not prepared. I was not worthy.
So flawless.
@Eluvianus Rex: As I'm going to be the Spirit/KE... I'm thinking she'll be Storm/KE - even though to my understanding Winter will have better synergy. Help me guru of the skill trees.
Whatever she is - we will have many glorious conversations on her balcony discussing varied and important topics... and Dorian's mustache... and how Solas always smells like squirrel sh_t...

Nah, I think she was just serving Celene in civil war negotiations. The circle mages wouldn't have any need to negotiate with anyone anyway. She was Celene's delegate to negotiate.
So all the windows shatter and she just calmly erects a barrier, like she was expecting it? And then brushes the guard off afterwards with a "run along, dear. I have more important things to attend to"? And then SMIRKS?
BADASS
