I know that BioWare will be taking a short break from DA:I to rest and recover, but I wanted to suggest possible DLC that could be implemented. My suggestion is having the ability to travel to one of the Qunari island nations of Par Vollen or Seheron. That or the settlements of Kont-Aar and Qundalon in northern Rivain and Anderfels respectively. The Qunari have the most unique culture in the Dragon Age universe, in my opinion, and I would think it would definitely shed more light on the Qunari and the Qun if we got to travel to one of their occupied territories. Maybe even see Sten from DA:O (Those who read the Dragon Age comics know why I suggest this).

Another suggestion would be for the Inquisitor to get his own ship to sail the sees and customize (Like in Assassin's Creed: Black Flag). Land battles are great and all, but I'm curious now what sea battles could be like now with the current Frostbite engine you're using for DA:I. The ocean animation is very realistic from what I saw from the demos on YouTube and Twitch. So, I'm wondering what would it be like to sail on those open seas-- battling pirates, enemy factions, even the Qunari or the Tevinter Imperium. Maybe even run into Isabela?

My last suggestion is just for entertainment purposes and not really to expand on the Dragon Age universe. An arena to fight all the monsters you've defeated so far in the game. I suggest this, because from what I took from all the media I've been watching, once we kill certain dragons in that particular areas, it's gone for good, right? If that's the case, you should include an arena so we can test our party fighting the dragons or other enemies again. If not to get the satisfaction of fighting a powerful opponent again, at least another way to get materials to craft better gear or earn gold.

All I want for DLC is Kal-Sharok.

It would be fascinating and instead of using dwarves to talk about Lyrium or Darskpawn, we could actually dive deeper into dwarven culture. :)

I think Par Vollen/Tevinter probably deserve their own game.

Anderfels would be cool too, though.

With you Veeia, Kal-Sharok is extremely intriguing

Hang on, I thought BioWare showed a video of the Inquisitor in Kal-Sharok. I'd have to search for the video on YouTube, but I know for sure that it was a dwarven location due to all the dwarven structures and what not.

EDIT: From what I recall from the video, the Lead developer was there and the Inquisitor was a human using a two-handed sword. That and that some of the fighting was with the Carta and on a dwarven bridge by a waterfall. Also, that the other side of the bridge had the dwarven buildings carved into the side of a mountain, it seemed.

If i'm thinking of the same video (and don't have the link offhand either) pretty sure it was just an abandoned part of the Deep Roads that had been taken over by the Carta

Nope, it was a random abandoned thaig, iirc. They even said in the video that Orzammar was the "only dwarven city", which I'm sure was a careless mistake, but made me go o.O

I'd like to see crap hit the fan in Nevarra. They're having a succession crisis, necromancers try to take over, etc.

The more I think about it, the more I'm realizing that we don't exactly know what locations will be available to us. lol Looking at the maps for certain locations, it's a sure thing that we have a lot of ground to cover. Should be worth every penny if I can get over 100 hours of play time in this game. Not including Multiplayer.

You know, I'm one of the minority on the forums that's excited about going back to the Deep Roads.   I know we end up there at some point.  Please don't shoot the rogue for that.

I'm cool with the Deep Roads, there are often dwarves there and I won't even pretend to be objective there. :P

With the Open World concept they could do several things similar to what Bethesda did with their Skyrim, including expanding into new areas further. DLC could start at any moment in game and not be blocked off due to similarities of DA:2 with acts 1 2 and 3.

Warden related questlines, chantry special missions, A DLC that brings in a Leliana Romance is plausible with Cullen and Josie being romance-able. Dwarven Expansions, The return of Tallis and her flirtatiousness.... Sebastian.... The Siege of Stakhaven...

Tentacles?

If Nevarra isn't significantly explored in DAI (as seems to be the case) then I'd want an expansion to deal with it.

Though many would be against this, I'd like a Free Marches expansion so we can say that we're largely done with both the DAO and DA2 regions of the map - especially since most of DA2 is just in Kirkwall.

I'd kinda like to save stuff like Anderfels, Tevinter, Par Vollen, Antiva, Rivain, Seheron, Elvenhan, etc for the next 1-2 (maybe 3) games to be spaced out for the rest of this decade and into the 2020s, if DAI is a success and BW continues the franchise. That really seems fair for me.

I would accept standalone adventures that take place in these locations though, of course. Just not large, more open and content-filled expansions.

I think Nevarra would be very fair and I wouldn't be surprised if it is either in the game already in some capacity or planned for DLC production. Elite dragons, elite undead, elite all-the-things. :)

Maybe Anderfels.

Part 2

One of the reasons why I want several of the regions to be saved for the next game or two, is because Inquisition is clearly avoiding focusing on city life this time around, in favor of making the countryside and wilderness more explorable and appealing.

But that's for now. The next game could very well include much of the open world of Inquisition, but also give Bioware the chance to elaborate how to do cities better than Kirkwall.

I would be very very much in support of a DA4 that took place in the Tevinter Imperium (maybe Orlais as well?), including the northern islands and maybe Anderfels, and involving much city and maybe sea exploration along with wilderness exploration. But I just can't imagine Inquisition going for that so far. Sounds more like a sequel feature.

Oh right. Yeah, I'd take a big DLC in the Deep Roads as long as it isn't boring. The place is more love-it-or-hate-it at times with people so it would be good to have it as an optional slice of content (I know the Fade is like that too, but it was more 'hate it', letting the devs seemingly focus on making it as 'love it' as possible; not something that seems to be the case with the Deep Roads which has that naturally divisive dungeon crawling aspect).

I don't believe the Deep Roads are very major in Inquisition too, so it would be cool to get some extended time there.

I really, really hope they add more casual attires for the Inquisitor in Skyhold. Perhaps something along the lines of Kasumi in Mass Effect 2 where there's a companion quest-line accompanied with a new outfit? Considering how much we can customize Skyhold it's strange that we can't customize our Inquisitor's casual appearance while s/he strolls about inside it.

From what I saw from some of the streaming videos, your character can also be wearing your armor you have equipped. Mind you, it might have changed since that video was posted, probably.

I wanted to at least wear my armor at Skyhold, but unfortunately that appears to have been shot down:

@user
@Cameron__Lee @Mike_Laidlaw @Lazertuna Just a q about the recent stream: can we wear armour in Skyhold? Is the casual gear mandatory?

Just thought of another location. Weisshaupt Fortress in the Anderfels. The Grey Wardens main HQ. I mean think about it, surely the Darkspawn will be joining in on the chaos. What better way to quench that Grey Warden nostalgia than to prevent another Blight? XD Though, in all seriousness, they probably want to save something as juicy as that for another game, but my Grey Warden blood is tingling and I want to kill some Darkspawn!

Guess they're going with the "Normandy" attire. It would be nice to have some kind of choice on what you can wear like clothes suited to your character's race, but I'd prefer if they allowed me to wear that really cool Inquisitor coat from all the concept art, overall. Without the helmet, of course.

Took me a while to realize you were talking about the Mirror from DA2 that allowed you to change your appearance during the game. lol

Hair, casual clothes, ball dresses. Take my dollars in exchange for these things.
