I'm most looking forward to Sera.

 

Despite the fact that I'm pretty sure that I won't like her, I am looking forward to Vivienne, too. I think there's going to be some interesting friction between her and Sera.

 

I was quite ambivalent towards Blackwall for a while, but I suddenly find myself more and more interested in him.

 

I don't really have a "least favourite" yet as I'm not about to pass final judgement on any character before seeing them in-game. Cole in particular has the potential to be either hugely interesting or a one-trick joke character. I guess we'll see.

Top 3:

 

Varric, because I loved him in DA2, and I'm not a fan of the other two rogues.

Cassandra, because she appears to suit my Inquisitor in personality and beliefs (and I also like them as a player).

Blackwall, because Grey Wardens, and he appears to be a grizzled veteran and a good mentor (if the human story requires a young character).

 

Least favorite:

 

Cole. He's a bit creepy, and I just don't find him interesting. Doubt my Inquisitor will even recruit him.

 

Of course everything could easily change when I actually play the game.

These are just first impressions, though.  I don't know anything about Blackwall, Cassandra is just there to me, and Vivienne doesn't seem like someone I'd get along with (though she does have the best fashion sense   ).

So far (and very much open to massive re-ranking on actually playing)

 

1 - Dorian. I'm looking forward to having a companion who is simultaneously camp as a row of tents whilst still being capable and principled (I mean, more than just a sassy comedy relief)

 

2 - Cassandra. She strikes me as someone who has an unwelcoming exterior but is genuinely kind. You just gotta polish that carbon til the diamond appears. 

 

3 - Sera. She just seems so much fun! 

 

and lowest: 

 

At the moment, Blackwall. That's mainly because we haven't seen much of him, though, he might turn out to be my favourite character or at least someone I respect but don't have in every party, a la Aveline.

I have mixed feelings about Vivienne. My Inquisitor will probably disagree with her on most issues, but arguing could be fun (at least I hope so). I don't think I'll use Cole and Iron Bull a lot.

Dislike Viva based on description. but sure she'll end up more...

i'd like my party to have more character slots than 3. I definitely like Cass, Dorian, Vivienne (from the first time i saw her) and of course Varric (but as a rogue i would prefer to have my Leliana)

 

I dont like at all Sera and Solas. They dont have that elven beauty but i must give credits that Solas seems to have an interesting personality.

Vivienne is at the top of my list for most interesting companion. Blackwall and Cassandra are two other characters I'm looking forward to exploring. 

 

The character I'm probably the least interested by is Solas right now, since most videos depicting him showed that he had the personality of a chair. I'm sure his insight into the Fade and elven magic may be very interesting, but as a character he seems awfully bland.

I like all of them equally honestly, though if I HAD to weed out a few and pick my favorites I'd go with Solas, Sera, and Vivenne. Varric would be on the top, but that isn't fair since I already loved him in the second game, and neither Cullen or Leliana are available as companions. (Further, if she was Leliana would be in the same boat as Varric.)

Although it could change, my top three would be Dorian, Varric, and probably Blackwall, though I really like Vivienne and Iron Bull as well. 

 

Least favorite depends on what you mean--I have absolutely zero interest in Cole and I don't even know if I'll recruit him after the first playthrough, though that could change, which is why I'm at least giving him a chance.  But I think I'm going to actively dislike Sera and Solas; their personalities, backstories, and character design do nothing for me.

2.- Sera, even if she is unattractive her personality perks are a YES YES

My main party will probably look something like Varric, Blackwall, and Solas/Dorian for my "good" Inquisitor.  And Cole, Vivienne, and Bull for my "bad" one.  I'll use Sera, Cassandra, and either Solas or Dorian for my blind playthrough.

My least favorite is Leliana. I can't stand her since I saw the gameplay video of Redcliff. I like all companions thus far. I might be least interested in Cole but I don't hate him.

I'm just basing this off of what I saw of him in Asunder.  I haven't read any new info about him.  In Asunder, he was slaughtering innocent mages to use blood magic to keep himself alive.

I find them all interesting so am glad of the variety of the game. 

 

My favorites are the ones I know or have seen already: Varric, Cassandra, Cole. So very different, but all compelling characters with moral hearts who approach situations in very different ways. Blackwell is probably my favorite that I haven't seen yet - they say he loves animals and making stuff, in addition to being a Champion Grey Warden; what's not to like? 

 

I think I will find myself in disagreement with Iron Bull quite frequently; mercenaries aren't really my style. 

I think Dorian has a fantastic look, but I'm wary of any mage from Tevinter. 

But I can't think of any I hate yet. They all seem so different and so many are unknown. And for these two, I wouldn't call them my "least favorite" in terms of their inclusion because I'm interested to see more about both Tevinter and the Qunari. Just the ones I'm least likely to hang with on my first playthrough.
