top 2 would be Cass and Sera.

 

Least favorite to see is Cole.

I'm just basing this off of what I saw of him in Asunder. I haven't read any new info about him. In Asunder, he was slaughtering innocent mages to use blood magic to keep himself alive.

May be its bit spoilerish but in all preview videos, his inquisition page and interview about him he is changed in inquisition. He will hate anyone selfish and will strive to help ones who been hurt.

1 Varric Tethras will be in my party most of the time.
Our interactions with him will be different in this game. HE will be different.
2 Dorian will be my default mage.
3 Blackwall will be my favourite warrior, though I am interested in Iron Bull's story arc/romance.

I haven't quite gotten into Sera yet. On the surface, her brash persona does not charm me. I reserve judgement until I actually get to know her however.

I am so excited about all the advisors.

Varric, Dorian and Cassandra would be the one's that I'm most interested in.

It's a tie between Bull and Sera for least interest right now, and that trailer for Bull definitely didn't impress me. Is his voice going to be this inconsistent in-game I wonder...

I adored Varric and Cass in DA2, so the tie right now for my third favourite is between Bull or Sera.

 

Bull looks like he's got a great personality and backstory, while I like that Sera's personality and irreverent attitude, from what little we've seen of her thus far, seem to be much like my own.

I'll be playing a mage on my initial playthrough.  Right now I am leaning towards Blackwall, Sera and Cass as my primary party members.

I think I'll keep Varric,Cassandra,and a mage can be the bald elf. Wanted to put Sera,but for me had become unbalanced after all as my Qunari,will have three rogues.

1. Oghren: I adore this character and watching him pass out is one of my personal highlights of the series.

2. Varric: for the sake of being cliche and picking the Garrus equivalent in the DA universe.

3. Sten: Not exactly sociable, but I somewhat like the qunari society and find him intriguing.

 

Least Favorite:

 DA:O : Wynne, don't mistake this for abhorrence, I just found speaking with her as tedious with your character always being the big responsible hero that will be told of for generations while constantly talking about how she and a ghost merged before it was even a thing.

 

 DA:A : Velana, no contest; this scrawny ex keeper in training is constantly complaining about something, kills with barely any thought and never contemplated whether or not a group of merchants would hold a valueless elven girl hostage after killing everyone else in the exiled clan and then disappears to never be seen again chasing after her taint crazed sister.

 

 DA:2 : Anders, this guy I actually abhor; "It's a shame you can't like me because I'm a mage." This line in act 1 between him and a party member immediately forced me into a groan and it was nearly unbearable hearing him complain about the chantry, templars, and the mages with every single interaction, encounter, and party banter it seemed. He's lucky that he was somewhat necessary for combat otherwise I would have said "That's it catch on fire, bugger off, and get hauled off by the templars but not necessarily in that exact order".

Hmm, if Cole is also a "good" character, who is the darker rogue? Sera seems bent on helping people, Varric has always been a nice guy, and now Cole is good too? I need an darker rogue to round out my party on my evil play through. Maybe if I gave Varric the red lyrium in DA2 he will be a bad guy by now.

Least favorite followers so far:- Vivienne, Sera.

Vivienne; most similar to myself (ambitious, independent, blunt, etc.)

Dorian; most interesting due to personal background (Tevinter mage of the Altus class.)

Iron Bull; most attractive (laid-back, playful, not as serious as most companions.)

 

Least favorite is Cole, partly because he reminds me of Evan Peters and partly because I didn't like him in Asunder.

Patrick once played an assquisitor, in that playthrough, Cole was the first one who left.

Don't expect he will tolerate you.

1. Solas - what can I say? I love scholars (Beckett) and old mages (Xardas) - and he seems to be combination of both!

2. Cole - "Stab-stab-kill-kill!"

3. Bianca - she's really beautiful and deadly. Oh, such a shame she speaks only with Varric...

 

Least favorite:

I'm not sure I really hate anyone. I think I'll have hard time with female companions (because Sera may act a bit childish, Cassandra is Cassandra and Vivienne seems to seek power above all else), but I'll respect them.

I'm going to excuse Varric from the rankings, because I already know him and like him. I sort of know Cassandra, but not to the depth that I'm sure I will once the game comes out. So here's judging just from the stuff I've heard about and read about these characters.
