UPDATE: Dragon Age II is completed! You'll be ready for importing Dragon Age II before the arrival of Inquisition prerelease!

To use Tapestry, you must open up the tapestry and manually redo all the quest decisions you made throughout both games. To make the Tapestry easier for players, I'm going to try to show which quests in your Completed Quests link with which part of the Tapestry. Otherwise you'll be looking blankly at the completed quest screen trying to remember what all that was about. I've been made aware that there are various website offering deeper analysis of the choices in the Tapestry. The Dragon Age Wiki and dialoguewheel.wordpress.com are excellent websites with more material on the Tapestry choices. I used the Dragon Age II Collector's Edition Strategy Guide as a guide to mapping this guide. Other citations shall be noted individually throughout the posts.

Dragon Age Origins DLC Choices

Dragon Age II: Prologue and Companions (This Post)

Dragon Age II: Act 1

Dragon Age II: Act 2

Dragon Age II: Act 3

Prologue:

Did Hawke join the mercenaries or the smugglers?

Main Quest The Destruction of Lothering or Secondary Loose Ends

If your completed quest says Athenril offered a way, you picked smugglers.

If your completed quest says Meeran offered a way, you picked mercenaries.

Companions:

Romance: Pick 1. The best way to look at this is to see which of your companions was wearing the Red armband in your post-campaign save.

Were Varric and Hawke Friends or Rivals?

Go back to your Hero selection and see if you picked Aggressive. Only a truly aggressive Hawke has any chance of insulting Varric enough to make him a rival.

Bethany

Try leaving the estate in your post-completion save. One of these four will appear.

If your Hawke was a Mage, choose Bethany was killed. There is no way to keep both siblings alive.

If Bethany appears in blue and yellow robes, she was made a Circle Mage.

If Bethany appears in blue and white striped robes, she was made a Grey Warden.

If Bethany died before the final battle, check that she died in the Deep Roads. If she died later, there is a separate tile.

Did Bethany survive the final battle?

This one is not covered in completed quests. It should be fairly fresh in your mind though.

If Bethany is dead in your Bethany tile, choose Bethany did not live to the Final Battle

If you sided with the Templars and executed the Mages, choose Bethany did not survive the final battle. And you're a horrible sibling.

Carver

If your Hawke was a Warrior or a Rogue, choose Carver died leaving Lothering. There is no way to keep both siblings alive.

If Carver appears in the Silver Plate and sword insignia of the Templars, choose Carver became a Templar.

If Carver appears in blue and white striped armor with no insignia, choose Carver became a Grey Warden.

If Carver does not appear, Carver died in the Deep Roads.

Was Varric's Brother Killed?

Companions Family Matter

If your completed quest say that Bartand was spared, Bartrand is alive. If otherwise, Bartrand was killed.

Did Hawke help discover what was going on at the family Mansion?

Companions Haunted

If anything except "Hawke chose not to help," choose Helped Varric discover cause of haunting

Did Varric keep a piece of the red lyrium idol?

Companions Haunted

If it says "Varric kept the shard," choose Varric kept red lyrium idol.

If it says "Sandal forged the lyrium idol into a rune" choose Varric did not keep red lyrium idol.

What happened to Fenris?

Check for Companions Questioning Beliefs

If you have one for "Fenris would like to talk in his mansion in Hightown", you only have options Fenris Died or Fenris Alive and Well

Check for Companions Fenris Recruited

If you have completed this Quest, Fenris was recruited and is now a party member. Ignore choice "Fenris was not recruited"

Fenris Died - During The Last Straw, if you side with the Mages, you will have to fight Fenris unless your Friendship is 50% or higher. You will be forced to kill him.

Fenris - Tevinter Master Check for Companions Alone

If you told Danarius to take him during Alone, Fenris will be sent back to Tevinter with Danarius.

If your Alone says that Fenris killed his sister or allowed his sister to leave, don't pick Fenris - Tevinter Master.

Fenris Alive and Well but Still pursued:

If you found a way to avoid using Fenris in the Free Marches during Act II and therefore did not trigger A Bitter Pill, it is possible not to trigger Alone in Act 3. The most likely way you managed to do this was if you were playing a Two-Handed warrior Hawke.

Fenris Alive and Well - If you didn't choose something different based on the above choices, stick with

the default of Fenris Alive and Well.

Did Hawke recruit Isabela?

Check Secondary Fools Rush In

If Isabela can be found at the Hanged Man, choose that you have recruited Isabela/

If you didn't, pick you did not recruit her.

Did Isabela return to Hawke after stealing the book?

If you didn't recruit Isabela, by default, she will have the default not recruited tile.

Check for Companions Isabela's Regret

If you have this quest, Isabela returned and rejoined the party. Choose the returned tile.

If you do not have this quest, choose that Isabela left and did not the return.

Did Hawke give Isabela to the Arishok?

Check for Companions Isabela's Regret

If you have this quest, Isabela you did not return Isabela to the Arishok.

If you do not have this quest, check Main Plot Demands of The Qun. Was the Arishok killed? Then you didn't hand her over. Choose Didn't Give Isabela to the Arishok.

If the Arishok left unharmed, choose gave Isabela to the Arishok.

Did Merrill stay with Hawke?

Leave the Estate, if Merril is available you did in fact have Merrill join you.

If Merrill is unavailable, check Main Plot A Long Way Home. If it says, Merril made it safely to the alienage, you recruited her. If not, you did not recruit her.

What happened to Merrill?

If you sided with the Templars, and Merrill's friendship was not 50% or higher, you will have to fight and kill Merrill. Otherwise, Merril is Alive and Well.

Did Merrill destroy the Eluvian?

As far as I know, there is no way of figuring this out via completed quests.

Most likely, however, if you picked Companions Mirror Image and refused to give her the final piece of the Eluvain, you ended up convicing her to destroy the Eluvian.

Did Hawke approve of Anders' actions at the Chantry?

This is contained in Last Straw. Choose whether your Hawke believed blowing up the chantry to jumpstart the conflict between Mages and Templars.

What happened to Anders?

Contained in Last Straw. If your Hawke agreed with Anders and joined with the Mages, Anders will be alive and well. Otherwise, Anders will be executed either in Lowtown or in the Gallows.

Was Merril's clan killed?

This is not revealed in completed quests. However, if you just go to your last save at the Mansion in Act 3 after the death of the Keeper without Merrill, check to see who's still at Sundermount. If all the elves are still there, it means you didn't fight your way out of Sundermount. Choose Merrill's clan survived.

Did Aveline marry Donnic?

Check Companions The Long Road. If the completed quest say Aveline and Donnic are now dating, they will end up being married in Act 3.

Did Aveline stay with Hawke?

Leave the estate in your Post-Campaign save; if Aveline is still available, she has stayed with you. (She won't fight you) Aveline may leave if your friendship with her is less than 50% and Fenris does not leave (Mages) or Merrill does not leave (Templars). There is not a Completed Quest flag.

Did Hawke make Tallis Angry?

Check Premium Content Heart of the Many quest in the journal. If Hawke turned Tallis down, they weren't friends. Thanks SicSemper Trex!

Did Hawke kiss Tallis?

This is not reflected in the completed quests or journal. However, if you got her angry, you certainly didn't kiss her.

Did Hawke recruit Sebastian?

This is based on the Exiled Prince DLC. If you did not purchase, choose didn't recruit Sebatian.

Check Premium Content The Exiled Prince. If you have completed that quest, you recruited Sebastian.

Were Hawke and Cullen friends?

This also isn't depicted in save games. However, if you completed the quests where the Templars are involved, Best Served Cold, Tranqulity, etc - and don't constantly side with the Mages without reason, you can eventually earn Cullen's respect. This only occurs in conversation and doesn't really affect the course of the game. If you side with the Templars, you will probably gain Cullen's friendship.

The Cullen tile was removed sometime during the first week of November.

That's it for now! Next time I'll go through Act 1! Please let me know any mistakes, advice, or changes you would recommend to this guide.

I hate to be 'that person' but no one's done this on the forums because you can find the information offsite and organized.

http://dragonage.wik...Dragon_Age_Wiki

Which if people wanted to know which quest they're related to, they can just go there or goggle their name.

Secondly there's a website http://thedialoguewheel.wordpress.com/

Which takes the Keep and gives context to the choices.

Respectfully, I don't think that's the point of this topic. While those sites mentioned are fairly well-organized to give lots of information, this topic is specifically about how do I feed the Tapestry with choices from Dragon Age II with just the completed game saves available. A checklist instead of a full Wiki.

Did Hawke make Tallis Angry?

This is based on the Mark of the Assassin DLC. If you did not purchase it, choose Never met Tallis.

The games does not save details about Tallis and Hawke's parting views.

You can check "The Heart of the Many" quest in the journal. If Hawke turned down Tallis' request it means they weren't friends.

Here Are The Act 1 Decisions

What did Hawke do with the Templars?

The completed quest from Main Plot Act of Mercy is not completely clear.

If your quest says “Freed the apostates to seek their own path,” choose Fought against Templars or Forced Templars to Leave. Whatever you choose, your choice with What happened to Karras? will automatically fix the quest response to create a logical world state.

If your quests says that you handed over the mages to the Templars, choose Handed over the Mages to the Templars

Did Hawke return the cargo to Martin?

Check Secondary Finders Keepers

If your quest says “Martin has his cargo back and intends to set up shop...” pick Returned cargo to Martin

If not, choose Didn't Return Cargo to Martin .

Was Kelder killed?

Check Secondary Magistrate's Orders

If your quest says “The magistrate vows revenge for his son's death” choose Kelder killed

If your quest spared the magistrate's son, choose Kelder alive & well

Did Hawke return Saemus safely to the Viscount?

The completed quest is not covered (both solutions to this quest – allowing Winters to recover Seamus or doing it yourself will return Saemus unharmed). However, check Side Quests Redblossom Special. If you have that quest, whether you completed it or not – you went and rescued Seamus.

Is Ginnis alive?

If you returned Saemus to Viscount, you killed Ginnis. Ginnis only survives if you let the Unbidden Rescue quest lapse through until Act 2.

Did Hawke kill Danzig?

This quest is included within Wayward son and does not appear post-Campaign. The option to not kill him may arise if you had Fenris in your party, Fenris could intimidate Danzig into giving the information, therefore not killing him.

Did Hawke tell Ghyslain the truth about his wife's death?

Check for Secondary The First Sacrifice

If you do not have this quest, you didn't look for Ghyslain's wife.

The next two choices are not included in the save file. You need to decide if your Hawke told the man the truth about his wife's death.

Did Hawke find the miners missing from the bone pit?

Check for Secondary Get Back To Work

If you have this quest completed, you found the missing miners.

If you didn't you did not seek them out and choose appropriately.

Did Hawke blackmail Ser Thrask?

Check Secondary An Errant Letter

If Thrask is relived you kept his secret, you didn't blackmail Ser Thrask

If Thrask is angry and had to pay you, you blackmailed Thrask.

Was Idunna killed?

Open a non-post campaign save from Act II or later. Go to the writing desk. If Idunna survived, there should be a letter from her from the beginning of Act II. If you have this letter, Idunna survived. Otherwise, Idunna was killed.

Did Hawke send Feynriel to the circle or the Dalish? (This explanation is from the Dragon Age Wiki)

Check your Letters pile (You may to open a save game from Act 2)

If you have this letter:

Life with the Dalish hasn't been easy. Keeper Marethari tries her best, but I don't know what else she can do for me. The younger elves won't accept me, and I often hear them whispering behind my back. The elders have more discretion, but I can see it in their eyes—they're afraid of me.

I don't know why I'm telling you this. Sometimes it feels like you're the only person I can trust.

Your friend,
Feynriel

Pick You sent Feynriel to the Dalish.

If you have this letter, instead:

It's been years, and the Circle has yet to find a way to help me. I've seen the way the templars look at me. I know they want me to undergo the Rite of Tranquility. If something doesn't change soon, they will force it upon me.

I try to keep myself under control, but it's difficult. The nightmares are coming more frequently. They seem so real. I can't help thinking that the Dalish would've had an answer for this.

Pick You sent Feynriel to the Circle.

What happened to Keran?

Check Main Plot Enemy Among Us

If you supported Keran when you brought him to Cullen, your Enemy Among Us will say Keran resinstated with Templars

If you condemned Keran, choose Keran kicked out of templars

Did Hawke defend Ketojan or hand him over to the Qunari?

Check Lore - Codex for The Qunari - Asit tal-eb

The location is really obscure. If you have the codex entry for the Asit tal-eb, you defended Ketojan.

If not, choose you turned him over to the Templars.

Thanks once again to SicSemper Trex for finding this entry!

Was Karras killed?

Check Side Quest The Midnight Meeting

If you have this quest, Karras was killed.

If you do not have this quest, Karras was alive & well or you did not see the letter on your desk.

I don't know if all of this is correct. For example, conceivably someone could be rivals with Varric based on their conversations with him, rather than having an agressive personality overall. And whether you told Ghislain the truth about his wife's death is something you'd have to work from memory or just guess what your Hawke would or might have done.

I'm not sure how you think we disagree on the truth of Ghyslaine's death. I said the game's save file doesn't include any information about the choice you made. You said the same thing.

On the point of Varric, my playthroughs of the game point out that you have to consistently pick Aggressive conversation points to become a rival with him. I quote from the guide "Varric's lack of a personal crusade means that he's easy to have around. Unless your Hawke is truly a nasty piece of work, you'll rarely need to worry about how your dwarf will react."

Did Hawke defend Ketojan or hand him over to the Qunari?

Check Side Quests for The Lost Patrol

The Lost Patrol quest only occurs if you have gained respect from the Arishok. One way to do so is defending Ketojan from the Qunari.

If you did not defend Ketojan or generally acted disrespectfully to the Arishok, you will probably not have this quest. You probably should choose handed Ketojan over. As far as I can tell, there isn't a better way to do this with just the quests.

You can check the Codex under the Lore section and if you have the entry "The Qunari - Asit tal-eb" it means you defended Ketojan. Its the only way to acquire that particular entry.

Converting Act II: Act II is extremely difficult to recreate using the Completed Quests screen for your cues. Almost none of the quests give you any information about what happened.

Did Hawke kill Gascard?

Open an Act 3 save for Dragon Age II (Closer to the beginning, if possible). Look for a letter called "Package From Gacard Depuis"

Hawke,

I'm probably the last person you wish to hear from. I played a regrettable part in your mother's death, and I will live with that the rest of my life. You could have killed me, but showed me mercy. I have decided to use this second chance to change my ways. I am giving up magic.

I found this magical artifact in my stash. Perhaps you will find some use for it.

Gascard DuPuis

If this letter is on your writing desk in Act 3, you spared Gascard.

If not, or if you are currently carrying the Armor Gascard DuPuis's favorite hat, you killed Gascard.

Did Hawke side with Varnell against the Qunari?

If you have the Completed/Incomplete Side Quest The Fixer, choose that you did side with Varnell against the Qunari.

This isn't exclusive. It is possible to attack the Qunari and not have The Fixer, if you chose to burn the Qunari bodies, you won't have access to The Fixer.

Did Hawke side with Petrice?

As far as I can tell, the only way to tell this one is to open an Act III save and go to the chantry. If you can speak to Petrice, you sided with her.

There may be a better way to do this, please let me know if you find one!

Did Hawke discover who was raiding Hubert's caravans?

Check Secondary Inside Job

This tile is misleading. It alludes to the event in Act III (Mine Massacre) but is actually referring to the saboteur of the caravans in Act II.

If your Inside Job says "Hubert is glad there will be no more thefts," choose that you discovered the raiders.

How did Hawke help Yehven find his sons in the Deep roads?

If Nathaniel survived the events of Awakening or you ignored the dwarf, choose "Did not help Yehven."

The Completed Quest will say "Two of the three dwarves were saved." The only thing to do is check your inventory. If you are carrying the sword Potency and/or Sundering Thunder, you saved Iwan at the expense of Merin's life. This isn't fool proof. You might need to backtrack to a save from Act 2 if you sold these weapons when you found better ones.

If you do not, choose that you saved Merin's life.

Did Javaris die?

This quest is contained in Blackpowder Courtesy. The completed quest says that Javaris got nothing...apparently whether you kill Javaris or not.

Did Hawke help Lt. Harley with the Raiders on the Cliffs?

Check Secondary for Raiders on the Cliffs

If you don't have Raiders on the Cliffs, choose that you did not run into this encounter.

If you have "Jalen was well-pleased and offered a reward," choose Fought Alongside the Kirkwall defenders or Attacked the raiders without help.

Otherwise, pick Abandoned Raiders

What happened to Feynriel?

Check Secondary Night Terrors or letter from Feynriel at the writing desk or Side Quest Who Needs Rescuing?

If Night Terrors says that Feynriel was freed and went to Tevinter, pick that Feynriel was freed.

If Night Terrors says you made a bargain with a Demon, choose Feynriel was possessed.

If Night Terrors says you killed him in the dream or that the dream drove him mad, choose Feynriel was made Tranquil.

Did Hawke kill the Arishok?

Check Main Plot Demands of the Qun. If it says the Arishok was killed, choose that. If you've been following the guide, your choice was most likely made for you by what you picked for Did Hawke turn Isabela over to the Qunari.

I'm very disappointed in this one...there is really not a lot of information from the quests to help you out for this Act. Hopefully I'll get lots of help from other forum users.

I'm curious about the Did Hawke Kill Gascard? point, as I think you have multiple options as to when it happens.  I guess as far as DAI is concerned it wouldn't matter when you did.

Gascard can be killed by Hawke during "All that Remains" or by finding him afterward or he can be executed by the templars beforehand. But in all cases the end result is the same, I suppose.

The Act III Decisions

Did Hawke try to find the assassin for Nuncio?

Did Zevran survive the events of Dragon Age: Origins? If not, choose Nuncio did not seek Hawke out.

Check for Secondary A Murder of Crows. If you have anything written in here, choose that Hawke offered to help Nuncio

If you have no A Murder of Crows, pick you didn't help Nuncio to find Zevran.

Did Hawke let Zevran go?

If you didn't choose A Murder of Crows or Zevran was dead to begin with, choose Didn't Find Zevran

Check for Secondary A Murder of Crows. If your save state says Zevran was happy and offered a fine reward, choose Let Zevran Go.

If not, choose Didn't Let Zevran Go.

Who Did Hawke hand the conspirators over to? (Thanks to the Dragon Age Wiki)

Choose Main Plot Best Served Cold. If you have Orsino is still suspicious of Meredith's involvement, I believe that means you handed the conspirators over to Orsino.

You can also check if you have the Armor Cumberland Circle Robes in your inventory, that appears only if you sided with Orsino.

I don't believe I have a save where I turned them over to Meredith. I'm not sure if the completed quest looks the same. However, If you have the Side Quest The Last Holdouts, you most likely sided with Meredith for this quest.

If you have the Weapon Heart Shield in your inventory, you turned the conspirators over to Meredith.

Did Hawke find and rescue Nathaniel from the Deep Roads?

If you have filled out the tile for the Yehwen quest, Nathaniel did not survive the events of Dragon Age: Awakening, or appeared not to because he was not in your final party at the end of Awakening. If you played a Dragon Age II premade character that was not The Martyr, Nathaniel is dead.

If any of the above are true, pick Nathaniel did not survive.

If you did not meet Yehwen and do not have the completed quest Secondary Finding Nathaniel during Dragon Age II, choose did not find Nathaniel.

If you have a completed Secondary Finding Nathaniel, choose Rescued Nathaniel.

How did Hawke decide to help Uncle Gamlen?

Check your inventory for the Gem of Keroshek, if you have this amulet, choose Hawke returned The Gem To Gameln.

Open an Act 3 save. If you have a letter from Charade, choose reunited Gamlen and Charade.

If you do not have a Secondary Gamlen's Greatest Treasure entry, choose Didn't Help Uncle Gamlen

Helping Uncle Gamlen was removed from the Tapestry

What did Hawke do with Emile?

Check Main Plot On The Loose.

If your saved quest says Emile was returned to the circle, choose Emile returned to the circle

If your saved quest says Emile was set free, choose Emile Allowed Emile to go free

Did Hawke side with the Mages or Templars in the final battle?

This is the most important decision you made in Dragon Age II. The Post-Campaign save won't say whom you sided with. However, any act 3 saves descriptions will show you which side you were leaning to at the beginning of Act 3 of if you were attempting to be neutral.

What did Hawke do with Keran?

Best Served Cold is quiet on what you do with Keran.

One way to check Keran's fate is to open an Act 3 save and go to the front of The Hanged Man. If Keran is standing in front of the door, choose Let Keran Go.

The other two options do not have a clear effect on the rest of the game, and it appears that it's only tracked in the conversation, not in the resolution of Best Served Cold.

Did Hawke kill the Dragon in the Bone Pit?

Check for Secondary Mine Massacre

If you have a completed quest that says that "Hubert was glad that the dragons were eliminated." Pick Killed Dragon at the Bone Pit.

If not, pick Didn't Kill Dragon At The Bone Pit

Were Varric and Hawke Friends or Rivals?

Go back to your Hero selection and see if you picked Aggressive. Only a truly aggressive Hawke has any chance of insulting Varric enough to make him a rival.

Actually, just put Varric in your party, and go to his character sheet.  There should be a bar on the side with a slider.  Depending on if the slider is closer to "Friend" or "Rival" is what the question is asking for.  :)

If you're in the post game, and have the Black Emporium, you can go there - otherwise you could just open a save earlier than post.  (IIRC DA2 keeps multiple autosaves, so you should have some still prior to completing the game)

Dragon Age Origins

There is one more piece I forgot. Dragon Age II does record a small group of Dragon Age Origins decisions in the storyline of Dragon Age II. These are also one of the few places to check DLC decisions.

Let's first talk about what it doesn't do. You won't find any help for Witch Hunt or Stone Prisoner.

What happened to the Architect?

Not seen so far. Having played Inquisition, this choice does not seem to have an effect on the gameplay. Dragon Age II does not reflect this choice.

Did the Warden protect Vigil's Keep or the city of Amaranthine?

If you chose to protect Vigil's Keep, load a Dragon Age II pre-completed save and look for Seargeant Johanna by the Hanged Man Tavern. If you've already completed her quest, check your Side Quest for The Conspirators side quest. This is only available for Vigil's Keep.

If you chose to protect Amaranthine, check for the Secret Rendezvous side quest. This requires finishing the Fools Rush In Side Quest, the Suspicious Lady in the Hanged Man will give you this quest.

The Tapestry does offer the choice to have saved both Amaranthine and Vigil's Keep. As far as I know, there is no way to do this in Awakening except as part of a bug.

What happened to Nathaniel?

Nathaniel Alive & Well

If you did not take Nathaniel in your party at the end of Awakening or leave him at a protected Vigil's Keep, the game will assume that Nathaniel died. This can come as a surprise when playing Dragon Age II and you saw that he survived in the Epilogue for Awakening.

See the section in Act 2 for more about Nathaniel in Dragon Age II.

Did Oghren reunite with his child and Felsi?

The saved games do not reflect this. If you played on a console version of Dragon Age Origins/Awakening, you probably did not reunite with Felsi. There is a bug in the console versions that reduce the effectiveness of Gifts to Ogrehn to +1 brought over to Awakening.

Warden's Keep DLC

Did the Warden drink Avernus' alchemical concoction?

The Warden gained two unique abilities if they drank this, most likely they did.

How did the Warden deal with Avernus?

Check your Side Quests, if you have the Side Quest Dark Ephiphany, you spared Avernus. Check for a Codex entry called Grey Warden Letters.

The last shipment was quite helpful for my research, Commander. If you could double the supply next time, it would prove most efficacious. Additionally, the information regarding the Architect has proven invaluable—we have made several breakthroughs recently. As the Architect surmised, considerable untapped power exists within Grey Warden blood. When properly prepared, its effects can be remarkable.

But my research has also revealed some alarming implications, which I've attached in the old Acanthan cipher. I urge you to send this to the First Warden at once.

I will conduct further tests as long as I'm able. My documentation is very thorough—if time finally claims me, others may follow in my footsteps.

Avernus

If this is your Codex entry choose Slayed Sophia and allowed Avernus to continue his research

The limitations put upon my research have greatly hampered progress. With just a few subjects, I could test certain critical hypotheses. However, the information sent about the Architect has proven invaluable to my efforts, and I am pleased to report limited success.

My documentation is very thorough—if time finally claims me, others may follow in my footsteps

If this is your codex entry, choose Slayed Sophia and allowed Avernus ethical research.

Thanks to the DragonAgeWiki, for help for this list!

If you have the Side Quest, Terror on the Coast choose Slayed Avernus.

If you have neither of these, you probably did not allow either to survive at Warden's Keep. Choose Both Sophia and Avernus perished.

The fate of the Architect does affect a little bit of dialogue in a couple points in Dragon Age 2.

This is great celestial_emperor.

Gang, I might also suggest a post I made a while back:

http://forum.bioware...ttom-of-thread/

This features some automatic file importers. For dragon age origins, it imports all the decisions automatically by just reading your save file. For Dragon age 2, it does like 80% of them automatically, and in my post there is a manual list of the ones it doesn't

It's actually amazing to me that Bioware didn't just produce a save file reader, given some random guy was able to do it just for fun over not too much time.

Here is my guide, pasted below:

SPOILER ALERT: COMPREHENSIVE GUIDE TO MANAGING THE KEEP

Community,

I wanted to make a comprehensive post on the workaround mosaic I have created based on the hardwork of many great community members, including a reader for saves for Act 1 and a partial reader for saves for Act 2. What I added myself was the organization of this and a list I typed out of all decisions in Act 2 so you can see which ones are not currently tracked by StinStin’s cite. I printed out this list and, as mentioned below, just used it to track those decisions manually. Then, you can just take these and click them through in the Keep and you’ll be good to go.

Good luck!

Here Are The Act 1 Decisions

Did Hawke send Feynriel to the circle or the Dalish?

Check for Side Quest Elves At Large

If you have this quest completed, you sent Feyriel to the Circle of Magi (This is not necessarily the case, this is an optional quest if you sent Feynriel to the Magi)

If you don't have the quest, you sent Feynriel to the Dalish or did not take the quest from the Chanter's Board.

I'll add that if Feyniel was sent to the Dalish Hawke receives a letter regarding this
