Hopefully, DA:I will have many different endings. Rpgs tend to have that.

I so hope Inquisition doesn't end up anything like Destiny, that ending was so unsatisfying I gave up on Bungie for good.

I can't say enough bad things about ME3's ending. The game was so great before those last 10 minutes it just makes the ending all the more aggravating. I didn't mind not it not having a happy ending; the Extended Cut DLC fixed some issues, but also added some new ones. Plus, it ruined my favorite romance.

I'm pretty sure Bioware knows they need to avoid another ME3.

The last game I played where the ending was so bad I regretted playing at all was Neverwinter Nights 2.
This is why I play MMOs, mostly. DA2 wasn't horrible, but it wasn't the incredibly satisfied feeling that I got when I finished DAO.

I don't really see how that's even possible. Destiny barely had a story to begin with. I mean, I actually cannot remember why the Guardian was talking to those jerkass Awoken in the Reef, and there's no such thing as a character arc in there anywhere. I'm pretty sure that the Guardian and Ghost have only one instance where there is some playful banter.

No. XD Really??
Last game I played (sort of ) to the end was Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning. Great game, terribly predictable ending that I didn't finish over already knowing all the choices before I got there.

They'll make a great ending when you begin using punctuation.

I loved the Extended Cut, answered most of the shitty blank spots they left out or just magicked in.
But if DAI does end up as such, have no fear. I'm sure Videogames for Kids Charity will be getting a huge increase of funds again. ![]()

It wasn't that great though. I knew there were problems as soon as the game began and saw Shephard just twiddling her thumbs on Earth instead of continuing to get the Galaxy prepared for a Reaper invasion as a fully authorized Council Spectre. She had tons of proof from her invasion of the Collector base, from all the evidence left behind by Sovereign. The beginning of ME3 simply did not logically follow from where ME2 left off.
And then you head to the completely exhausted Martian archives to find designs for a space weapon that had somehow remained completely undiscovered despite the fact that ME1 already told us that the Alliance had exhaustively gone through the entirety of the Prothean archives on Mars. That's what lead to the events of ME1 in the first place. The Alliance had exhausted the Martian archives and hoped that the unearthed Beacon would contain plans for new technologies. So in that regard ME3 completely contradicted the events of ME1.
If that wasn't enough, you also had to deal with some of the most poorly handled characters in the history of Bioware games. From the space ninja with plot armor to the god child that contradicted everything mysterious that made Sovereign and the Reapers so awe inspiring in ME1 to way too much of a focus on the Illusive Man and his forces, really everything was wrong with ME3's story.
While ME3 did handle some things very well, those weren't things that were specific to ME3, but rather continuations of stories from ME1 and 2. Chiefly the genophage and how the genophage destroyed Krogan culture, the Quarian exodus, the geths' search for a soul, and the council continuing to be a bunch of butts. Also how Garrus and Shep are BFFs.

So long as the ending doesn't suffer because the developers decided to cut a good amount of the content or gate all the explanations behind DLC paywalls, then I really don't care how bad it is. I just want it to make sense, meaning Point A leads into Point B, possibly creating Points C through F, but all tie up neatly into a pretty little bow - and be complete which is sadly lacking these days. I would point to the glaring elephant in the room that was ME3, but others here are already doing that better than I ever could. Ergo, it would be a waste of time on my part.
