I'll need all the help I can get. So yeah, I'll use them all.
Will you use all of your companions?

I really don't see the point of neglecting characters. I feel like you're missing out on a lot of things when you do but that's just me. :>

At one point or another, yes. I will use all of my companions at least once during each play through. Whenever I feel like a certain companion will be in their element during a quest for example Dorian during the quest in Redcliffe or wherever it was, I will use that companion. I do like to try out each companion in games though. I like to make sure that the party I have with me covers as much ground as possible and that'll only come with trail and error. The gist of this is that yeah, I'll use them all but when I have a hang on the game and I know how the different characters can play, certain companions usefulness will quickly diminish.

While I will lean more towards having Iron Bull, Sera, and Dorian/Vivienne (mainly for combat balance reasons) in my party, I fully intend on having every single companion on my party at many points in the story
First of all, I have every intention on completing each of their personal quest lines. I also intend on reaching the highest levels of friendship with every single one of them.
Because, really, one of the best things about Bioware games is meeting badasses and becoming lifelong pals with them.

I like to rotate my companions, but I always have some I favor and use more often. I am sure Varric will be one of these, and I expect Cassandra, Blackwall, and Vivenne to be favored as well - fits best with my Inquisitor's personality.
However, I am not sure I will recruit all companions. I can't say anything for sure without more information, but I expect I will not recruit Cole, and I am on the fence on Sera.

I will be rotating them more freely by the second play-through. In my first there won't be room for any mages besides me and my LI.

During the first playthrough, my LI (Dorian) will always have a spot in the party. The remaining two spots will be a rotation of everyone else, with the exception of Varric. It's not that I want him to leave or anything. I just used to have him with me in DA2 all the time and now I'm bored of his character.

Probably ya, at least so I can know which ones to never use ever again

For me it will be like: Varric and others.

I'll always have Dorian in my party (LI) and because my Inquisitor is a mage too, I won't need another one, so no place for Solas or Viv. Maybe on my second playtrough. Last two slots left for random tank and rouge. Preferably Varric and Iron Bull.

I'm rather surprised yet relieved that I've not seen the customary "no because I'm going to kill (insert character[s] here that I have an irrational psychopathic hatred for)!!!!" It's a rather nice vote of confidence.
I'm going to be taking them all at one point or another. I'm sure I'll favor one or two and bring them more often than the rest, and who those end up being is going to be at least in part decided by what type of character I play first, since I've not decided yet. The companions seem too interesting to ignore and I've liked what I've heard thus far about how this game is attempting to handle interpersonal relationships between the PC and companions. Here's just hoping it pans out the way they've framed it.

I won't use Iron Bull, can't have the Qunari spying on me.

My main party for my main character (Human/Male/Warrior) will be Cassandra / Varric / Solas , i will swap out for Cole/BlackWall/Iron bull when the mood strikes or i feel a character should get a bit of R&R. Won't use Viv/Dorian/Sera unless its mandatory or its a quest i feel would fit them well.

I tend to roll with 3 favorites most of the time but swap them out if I think the conversation would be more interesting for other companions on specific missions. For instance, I'm using Dorian, Varric and Cole but if I find a fade/mage related quest I'll swap Varric out for Solas or Vivienne. If I can help it I'll always try to have my LI for each playthrough and Varric in the party though.

3 separate playthroughs at the same time, one Human one Qunari one Dalish, each sticking to 3 companions at all time. That would let me know all 9 of them in the long run, problem solved
supposedly by these combinations, and serving as a note for myself lest I forget on November 21:
Human Inquisitor (female warrior): Cassandra, Varric, and Vivienne
(pro-Templar)
Qunari Inquisitor (female rogue) : Iron Bull, Cole, and Dorian
(pro-Mage)
Dalish Inquisitor (male mage): Sera, Solas, and Blackwall
(neutral)
though the last composition is so controversial~I mean, elves and grey warden~just Orlesians' favorite, right?

Not likely. I usually take one trio and stick with it for most of the game, unless there are quests in which a different party member might be helpful and/or related to it.
For now, Varric, Vivienne and Blackwall seem to be my primary companions.

I will use all of them. If i didn't I'd be missing out on content, plus I'd miss out on dialogue from my favorite companions, since I'd miss out on their banter with the people I always leave behind.
I'll have a 'main' group I take along about half the time, particularly on anything main quest related. I'll switch it up though for side quests and try to bring along whoever might be relevant (Dorian for anything Tevinter-related, for example), and I always do personal quests if I can. My LI goes with me everywhere though, especially the first time I romance them.

I usually try out combinations, before settling on a few both for combat and interaction reasons. My Warden consistently used Morrigan despite distrusting her, 'cause she was damned useful. So I'll have to see who I like and don't and who fits my combat style.
