To put things in some sort of "Bioware Perspective"

I have Dragon Age: Inquisition and have played through it in full 1x (I have tried 3 or 4 characters, though)

I tried to replay Dragon Age: Origins, only to give up because I got tired of the clunky interface

On a whim, I decided to fiddle around with ME2 a few weeks ago after not touching it for a few years.  I am on my third playthrough since then.  In fact, I interrupted my start of ME3 to play ME2 again - with a FemShep!

That's how awesome ME2 is - IMHO, of course!

Of course it is the characters are just so irresistible. Playing ME2 again even gave me the spark I needed to begin my fanfic again  :D

I just finished another ME 2 playthrough just a few days ago.  Of course these days I just do trilogy playthroughs.  When I play ME I fully commit and play all three games back to back to back.

I wish I was at that point. I still have a few ME2 Shepards that need to be imported into ME3.

Same here when I go through the games I do trilogy runthrough's as well start at 1 and finish at 3and I'm doing the same with Dragon Age at the moment I'm working through Origins then I'll move onto 2 and wrap up with Inquisition as I have all 3 installed. Just working through the DLC's (Awakening Leliana's song etc.) right now

Doing a trilogy engineer insanity run then will move onto sentinel.

I'm just finishing a Vanguard trilogy run.  After that I want to do an ME2 Sentinel playthrough because I haven't done one in a long while.

So next trilogy run is going to be an all sorts class run. To start I'll do an Adept in ME1 > then import and do a Sentinel in ME2 > then  import that to finish off with a Soldier in ME3.

To me trilogy runs are totally worth it if you have the time, it makes it a richer experience in my opinion.  That said it is also pretty time consuming and not for everybody.

I keep my Shepard the same class in all three games for the sake of consistency, that said by the time I get into ME 3 I start itching to play as something else (the MP helps relieve that).  Like right now I am in ME 3 with a soldier that I ran through the first two games.  But itching to get some biotics back into my life.  Havn't played as a sentinel in a long time so that is what my next trilogy run will be.

I agree all these games do take time to work through DA especially given a lot of the DA levels are on quite big maps at le4ast in DA Origins and Inquisition anyway. It's definitely worth it if y6ou have the time given with my disability and everything I don't have a job or anything so have more than enough time on my hands. Which is kind of why I think I enjoy these games.

Same here I keep it the same as I prefer to keep it consistent for story's sake more than anything as I couldn't see Shepard being a Soldier in ME2 for example and then throwing Biotic shockwaves in ME3. At the moment I'm torn between doing an Adept one or a Sentinel one as I haven't done either for a while but I won't make the call just yet as I'm not going to be playing it for a while yet

I thought about going adept in my next run but decided I want the versatility of the sentinel (and the tech armor).

Usually I do too, but I want to kill two birds with one stone, so to speak, an ME2 Sentinel and an ME3 Soldier rather than doing two playthroughs.

Maybe then I'll finally be able to take a break from the trilogy and play some of the other games that have been collecting dust on my shelf.

Fingers crossed.

Yeah,  I havn't done a complete back to back to back run of the DA games yet, probably because they tend to be longer games on average.  Especially the new one, it is a monster.

I will probably take a break from ME after my current ME 3 run before firing up my Sentinel.  If I don't I will probably run into that wall before I am halfway through ME 1.

yeah both Origins and Inquisition are both pretty large 2 is a bit smaller though started on DA2 today in fact as I finished Origins yesterday. Done the prologue section already and part way through act 1. Already recruited Varric and Merril. Still need to find and recruit the others though. I think Origins is the biggest though.

I am thinking of heading back into Inquisition after my current trilogy run,  I can take a break from ME and I would like to do a mage playthrough of DAI.  Thing is I am also thinking of just playing some Skyrim or even getting back into TOR.  Decisions decisions.

Yeah I was thinking of taking a break once I'm finished with DA (still have to do Inquisition after I'm done with 2 though) and do a stint on my motor racing games as it's been a while since I'd played them and I want to do some more of my careers that I have going on them. I'll go back to ME again after I've had a breather

The more I think about it the more I think I might just head back into SWTOR.  It's a complete change of pace from ME but still in a Sci Fi setting and I havn't played since last September and they have added new content.  Plus I like Star Wars.

Yeah I've got that as well but I don't play it much though

I will play it obsessively for a few weeks and then not touch it for a few months.

I just finished a play-through the other day (already imported and started ME3). My sixth or seventh play-through of the entire franchise, but my first as a Vanguard (if going for biotics, usually prefer Adepts). Game is still as good as it ever was. Which is to say, better than 99% of the game dreck floating around out there.

I'm playing ME2 for the first time right now.  I started late to Bioware, playing DAO and DA2 and DAI in 2014.  I was playing my third playthrough of DAI and took a break to wait for the black emporium and was farming in Harvest Moon Tree of Tranquility when Xbox had a sale on Mass Effect for the 360.  I hooked up my 360 next to my xbox one and played that 4 times, 2 Shepards through 2 runs.  Imported my level 59 (777,000 out of 862100 ugh) Infiltrator into ME2 on Monday and I've been playing it ever since.  I love it so far, now that I've gotten the hang of it.

If interested, here's a thread that you can post your playthrough
