@dreamgazer

Kind of implied at the top where I say 'will you' and not 'are you'

I'm not pre-ordering it. Never have. Seems stupid to me to buy something you haven't actually seen yet. I'll wait until the ME faithful come out with reviews and play throughs. If the ME3 ending (yes I am still pissed about that) isn't quickly resolved in the beginning of ME4 I won't buy the game. I don't care how awesome the graphics may be, I'll play Destiny or something else.

I did pre-order games. I pre-ordered ME2 and mE3 collectors editions. Why? Because I love this series and I knew 100% that I was going to play the games and even put up with the rather nasty DLC politics for this one.
BTW, I also pre-ordered The Witcher 2 because I was sure I was going to get it, based on it's predecessor.
I don't regret doing so in any of these cases.
Will I pre-order ME Next? No, because I am not sure it'll be worth getting it for the release price. While I still like ME3, I was disappointed by many aspects of it. Among the most relevant is the story and all the material that was released after ME3 (comics, etc.) does not exactly encourage me either. I also want to see what the DLC policy is going to be.
I will probably buy the game eventually, if it turns out that it's going to be really good (reviews, user comments here and maybe hopefully a demo), I might even get it shortly after release but if the trend of the franchise continues, I will probably wait for a budget price to pop up.
I used to trust BW to make products of such high quality that they were worth getting at release but that's no longer the case.
Now for The Witcher 3, I am still thinking about pre-ordering...

Probably not, purely & simply because I don't tend to pre order games, haven't even pre ordered DA:I, and that, I'm looking forward to getting.

No. I preorder 90%+ of the games I play, but Mass Effect as a series has been dead to me since reaching starbrat. I'm not picking up another Mass Effect game unless there is a major writing team shake up, and even when that happens it will just go into my maybe category as the brand is damaged to me.

Am I gonna buy it? No doubt about that.I mean it's ****** Mass Effect! Will I pre-order it? I have to see some more, before I pay 60+ bucks for something I don't even know what it's about. I really hope they won't pull a first-day DLC for 10 bucks stunt again...

First day DLC is pretty much a given now with AAA titles.

So depressingly true. Especially when we're talking about EA. The most we can hope for is that the content isn't already on the disc.

Don't forget about the day one patch to fix all the bugs and problems the game ships out with. Look at me, predicting the future. Lol.

Sadly you don't even need a crystal ball anymore. It's like asking if the walking dead still has walkers.

True but the crystal ball adds to the illusion. The illusion has just changed. It used to be to add to the illusion that the vision you foretell is going to be accurate. Now it adds to illusion that the vision isn't already marked in stone.

Deep stuff.

yes i most likely will. Im not going into hyperbole here and say that five minutes of a fantastic game will stop me. The extended cut and the rest of the game by far more than make up for a five minute mistake. I never had as much funnwith a series than i had with mass effect so heck yes i will likely preorder the fourth

Given that it is likely to be £50 on origin, not a chance.

That's actually more than what I pay at the shop for a FDP. I need to stop complaining about prices.

It depends. If I will be able to play asari, then certainly yes, no mater the price. If I will be able to play asari just in multiplayer, I will buy the game, but no preorder. If there will be no asari at all, I will not buy the game even at discount.

Also I will preorder the Witcher III next week (and will probably not buy the DAI at all).

Right now my plan is to not pre-order and instead wait for the reviews. I was very disappointed by the endings in ME3, and there are things that make me wonder if ME4 will be the kind of game I like to play.

Maybe I'll change my mind about the pre-order when we get more info on the game.

I barely ever buy games at full price, let alone preorder them.

I love Mass Effect to much, annoyingly, its actually something i would consider preordering, but im not giving bioware or EA any money upfront.

If it is a sequel and it has multiplayer, sure. If it is not a sequel I'll probably buy it for the multiplayer but probably not pre-order. If it is not a sequel and it has no multiplayer, well maybe when it's 3$ (on the other hand I still haven't bought DA2, so maybe not).
