Yeah, I think that's why he stopped the joke halfway through. He realized it was just too easy. It still made me laugh though.

Because Varric once wrote a story called Hard in Hightown.
And he told Cassandra that he told Hawke about it, because he was narrating DAII. Hence Cassandra's *disgusted noise*.

I remember someone saying one of the advisor operations involves another unauthorized sequel. Cullen refuses to get involved, Leliana reluctantly agrees to send a few people, and Josephine apparently takes Varric's intellectual property rights very seriously.
