Actually something called 'refund automation process' just accepted my refund request an hour ago (so about an hour or so since I applied for it). The game is no longer in my Origin account and the money's back on my card. On to the VPN client!

Well, it does nothing it seems. It's titled “english voiceover”. And voiceover was already in english.

Why of all countries and languages EA decided to translate it's games into Russian? And wtf they are not concerned that South America gets cheap multilang version and it can be easily resold?

That's just the time it takes for the bank to process that, the refund itself is actually granted right away. If you paid with Paypal balance and not by card, you'll get your money back within minutes of the EA advisor chat.

It is not about *cheap* russian. It is about the opportunity to buy *expensive* english for any territory that connected to internet.

I apply for my Russian refund and status is already completed. Good thing about origin they have a good refund policy.

 

I got the version from Peru. All in English !!! Enjoy so much the game now.

Get through Automated refund, connected to Mexico through Flyvpn and now I'm a happy owner of the English version!

Still no way to make russian version display english text? Refund-buy is not an option for me, it won't cover the cost, and I can't add anything right now. I've yet to launch the game so, supposedly, still have a week to consider getting back what money I can and letting go of this game.

Funny thing is, game costs 40 dollars as of current ruble to dollar price. I was thinking about buying it and tolerate pathetic Russian text translation( don't let me start on VAs, at least it's not bad as Ubisoft - they do voice overs), but not for this price with such limitations.

I hate to burst your bubble, friend, but those "language packs" don't appear out of nowhere - they are compiled by people just like us (or, specifically, just like yours truly in case of ME3 language pack ). So if we don't figure out a way to "fix" the RUS-POL version, then we are f****d. I've personally run out of ideas. Even tried to use Outcome as an alternative launcher instead of Origin, to no effect. Currently I'm inclined to get a refund, unless someone comes up with a solution in the next few hours.

Sure these packs come from people. But to try and make something of it myself, I'd need an English-based version of a game. Right now I have only cut down Russian one. All things considered they could've gone farther and included Ukrainian text, cause that's where I'm from. But nope. Russian only. Christ...

I guess the day pirate group go trough the Anti-Temper on the executable, English pack will follow. Anyway i change version already so it doesn't concern me anymore. Paid 39.99 $ for Peruvian version (Just wanted to be original instead of picking the Mexican one hahaha). 

 

Now i wish there was mods for the hair cause i made a female human mage for my first playtrought and i am a bit disappointed with the hair selection. Didn't find anything yet.
