Renaming and editing these new files works. Though with talks of hotfix coming soon we'll probably have to rely on you again for replacements.
Could you please post the edited files for the benefit of mankind?

Playing MMO's in international community has its benefits, as i myself a fellow russian gamer=) But one of my guildmates from Germany plays DAI aswell.

Thank you. Looking forward to wrestling with the graphical bugs the patch introduces after work today.

We will always find a way to play the game in it's original state (in english) no matter what EA's attempts at antagonizing community are. They are wrong here and we will correct their mistakes.

You should. At least, when I was trying Outcome workaround, I had to log in with my Origin account. I think it's because Outcome does not actually circumvents DRM, just makes the checks required without launching Origin client.
I am not sure we talk about the same thing - I get this screen when I try to start the game from the shortcut, with Outcome already running:

It never happened before, and I mean never never, this is officially the first time I see this pop-up.
So do I log in? ![]()

Can anyone share their en files with already patched DragonAgeInquisition.par file so i don't have to install outcome please?
EDIT:
Nevermind. Old .par seems to work with new en files. Hopefully there will be no bugs or anything ![]()

Nvm, I took courage, logged in, and it works fine ![]()
Now to work around the after-patch perfomance issues...

Bioware workaround for graphic works just fine and takes 1 min to do, just make sure you leave space between existing and added texts.

Already applied that, it helped somewhat, though the game is still very laggy. Heck, now on medium meshes and shaders it runs slower that on high meshes+ultra shaders before.

so for me it was just removal of hair glint

I play on a laptop and it's not very fast, it can't handle highs and ultras. Frankly, I was pleasantly surprised when the game run at all for the first time.
Btw, it just crashed on loading a particularly dense area (Redcliff village). This never happened to me before. Sigh...
Edit: Amazing. It just crashes all the time on loading an area now. Just great.

Dammit, new patch broke translations again. Can someone please post the en.toc and .sb files from the new patch?

I think the previous should work.
Date of updated sub file was old. Previous month or something
At least game works for me though not sure why Bioware is keeping updating sub files.

Is there a way to change the language from en_US to de_DE. I am actually German but live currently in the UK so I pre ordered the in April using an UK IP address obviously, I can install my game in either en_US or en_UK but not de_DE.
I am quite good with English but especially the party banter can sometimes be difficult if this is not your mother tongue.
Reading this thread it seems to be possible for customers of the German version to choose English with the DLC. So why can I as a German and apparently owner of an UK version, which I wasn't even asked if I want the UK version on purchase, not choose German as an option?
edit: just check the pre order of 27.04.2014 and it says "dragon age inquisition digital deluxe pc" "Abgeschlossen" means finished its no where mentioned that this is now a English version only
PS: The price for the UK version was and is 59.99 GBP which is currently 76€ by current exchange rates, the German version how ever is only 69.99€ so I even gifted 6€ to them and I don't even care it would be just nice to be able to play in my preferred language.

Yes there is. Two are in the first post of this thread (Outcome and refund/rebuy), and the third one is here. You'll have to get german localisation files from somewhere, though. All except refund are rewindable, so don't worry about screwing something up, you can just run installation repair if something goes wrong.

Hi. About turning Russian to English version.
I use origin and that files http://rghost.ru/59539965and copy/paste them here Program Files (x86)\Dragon Age Inquisition\Data\Win32\loctext and
then i see no fonts in game. There is also no other files in loctext folder. What is wrong?
Maybe i need to do something with Dragon Age Inquisition\Update\Patch\Data\Win32\loctext folder?

Do you have the game patched to most recent version? These files are only for after Patch 2. For me, they also work after recent hotfix.
Other than that, I see nothing that would preclude it from working, as the folder you put files into is the right one. It asked you to replace files already in it, yes?
