from what I know all the DLCs are initially international.

 

E.g. I've got Black Emporium from russian Origin for my 'foreign' Mexican DAI, and it's in English, same as those MP DLCs. 

 

I don't quite understand your statement //and it works for the game itself,....put for the patch folder it won't work//....

 

What I've done:

1. Got the files from the link you already have: 

 

2. Renamed them to ru.sb and ru.toc

3. Edit them with Notepad++ (not Windows embedded Notepad!) replacing all /en/ with /ru/

4. Put them in /Game Folder/Data/Win32/loctext

5. Went to /Game Folder/Update/Patch/Data/Win32/loctext

6. Made a copy of en.sb and en.toc found there, renamed those copies to ru.sb & ru.toc and edited them the same way as above (again with Notepad++!)

7. Game runs just fine and all text is English.

Ok guys, this is the problem. I have the russian version of this game, to put the menu and the main game in english i've downloaded the files that NRieh put here on the forum, editing them like BlackStrider said. But, if i try to modify the languages in the patch folder, i got the game loading forever..... Also if i don't, the black emporium is full russian, and other small things are russian too, like the new outfits for skyhole released in latest patch...

I have not updated the link after patch 10. I can do it within an hour (though the modification dates all remained the same, but just in case).

 

Do you have eng files in your patch\dlc folders? I think you should rename& edit them same as you had done for the main .toc-s I wish I could be any more helpful here, but I've never had ru-version of the game. All I can do is provide you with files. 

 

Also, first loading after any mods\patches\updates normally takes longer than usual. As long as it does not freeze dead for half an hour and it actually loads - it's fine.

Don't forget to keep original en files in this folder, you should make a copy of them, then rename it and replace all entities of /en/ by /ru/ in notepad++. It works for me every time they patch the game.

Seems, english files in main data folder are not changed with patches.

 

For those, who need russian>english modified files after patch 11, here they are. They are already modified, just put them in main data folder (game folder/data/win32/loctext) and patch folder (game folder/update/patch/data/win32/loctext) respectively (make backup of original files).

Well, it appears, they were actually changed, because although I could start my game with old patch 10 files, it didn't show any text at all, even when modified and replaced files in update folder. 

But now since I replaced main data folder files with those you provided, it works just fine.

But I didn't modified the files from main folder this time (post patch 11). I took those (already modified after patch 10) and only tweaked the ones (en.sb/en.toc>ru.sb/ru.toc) from Update folder.

Sadly, I don't have those. But if they are the same as, say, Multiplayer DLCs, you might try this:

Go to /game folder/update/dlc folder(i.e. trespasser/jaws.../descent)/data/win32/loctext/another folder named after DLC/. There you will find all kinds of .sb&.toc files. English and Russian are among them. Make a backup of ru.sb/ru.toc, open en.sb and en.toc with Notepad++ (not the default Windows Notepad), Search>Replace all /en/ with /ru/ and save them as ru.sb/ru.toc. You need to do this with all 3 DLC folders.

If you'll have any difficulties with that just sent me those en.sb/toc files from each DLC folder and I'll edit them.

I downloaded the #post 788 files. I saved and replaced them in the correct folders (I am suppose to be replacing the files in the loctxt folders with the downloaded ones yes?). When I start up the game after everything is done, I get an infinite loading screen

 

EDIT: I've got past the loading screen, now on the main menu I have NO text, I can hover over the area which would have text, but its completely blank
