So i'm not complaining about the game or anything and I know that this couldn't be implemented with this game, also I understand these are very mino and not important. However, I feel it would bring more personalization to the game and CC.

 

!) Choose what is your main hand. Are you a lefty or a righty? I've always wanted to use a sword and shield on the opposite sides thatt most games have preset.

 

2) Two toned hair. Basically have it like the eyes, but the secondary colour would be like highlights. It would help ppl get that "just right" look.
 

Like i stated, they are minor and unimportant, but they add just a tad bit to customization....

Well it interesting suggestion about left of right hand. But I think it couldn't be done because it will require a lot more animations for the character. Though I might be wrong in case you can just mirror animations >.< But I haven't seen this option in any game I've played but I like this idea. It gives better option to customise your character in the game.

I'm not a game dev in any way, shape, or form, but I was figuring that there was a way to do a "mirror animation" type thing. It's probably a lot more difficult than that, but it was just a thought

I think hair highlights depend on the game engine and then the hardware. You've got to get it looking natural

It'd be certainly nice. I'm lefthanded and when I notice my PC in a game I get a kick out of it. That said I understand it's a low hanging fruit and when stuff needs to be cut it's one of the first to go.

I think you can freely equip shields and swords in whichever hand in Demon's/Dark Souls, and Saints Row 2 had primary and secondary hair colors. So it's probably doable in theory

That's where I am getting these ideas. I do recognize that they are both different games than DAI and are on different engines, but I can dream

Thing is though, your right hand was still the dominant hand. Equipping a sword in your left hand had you either blocking with it or trying to deflect with it depending on the sword type. I can't remember what a main hand shield does though.

Possibly, I don't remember it much cause those games bored me

I'm guessing it's this way to cutdown on cutscene animations. Not sure it'll change anytime soon.

i dont think the technology for the 2nd one exist in thedas yet, unless you find a mage who is skilled in such things as prestidigitation. 

 

Also I have a suggestion, Giant Wolf Mounts, as big as a full grown male polar bear, ridable by Elves and Humans only.

Oh my god yes. I used to deliberately take damage penalties using a longsword in the wrong hand just so I could pretend that my dual-wielder was left-handed. Then in DA2 I played a lot of rogues, and closed my eyes during the murder knife cutscenes. I know it's not a big deal, and it's not super high on my list of priorities, but... it just gives me a delighted little thrill every time I see a fellow lefty. And if I ever saw a left-handed NPC, I might just scream a little with excitement.

I don't think it is unimportant at all. Being a lefty is much more important to my personal identity than my sexual orientation and they are making a big deal out of that.

Not anymore, unfortunately. Since Wii-mote controls he's been right handed. Twilight Princess was actually completely flipped to accommodate this. The GameCube version of the game is in mirror image and does have a left handed Link.

But I find the people in that world that you can see in a mirror, that have been swapped with people from our world is creepy enough in real life. I don't need it in video games.

Just when I was about to start a whiney thread about how I am being oppressed by right-handed privileged people, this comes up.
