I particularily like this because it gives any character a reason to be Inquisitors, it's not like in Origins where the threat was more distant, or you could conceivably run away from it. Here it's stop the Breach or die.

I'm really happy they actually made archery fun/effective this time around. I always love being an archer but i didn't have any fun with it in the previous games so I always played dagger rogues but now after seeing everything I think I'm finally gonna do an archer (which also makes me happy because now i can have dorian and viv on my team) the abilities look like so much fun. and if i don't like it for whatever reason i can always restart or respec into a dagger.

Now while archer looks fun. I would disagree with it not being fun previously. I loved being a 2hander/archer warrior in DAO.  Had a range attack and then switch to 2hander when they closed, and Sebastian Vale was awesome to play as in DA2.

My point exactly. It was clearly an accident, he didn't show anything TOO spoilery, so why ****** him and the angry joe minions off?

ETA: My original post is obviously confusing. Could be better written to say the if I were bioware, I don't know if I would have brought the ban hammer down on angry joe. As in, by making him take down a video that had only minor spoilers he didn't even know about, bioware looks petty.

Put a warning up that it was the prologue and a spoiler then who cares, and he did try to hide dialogue/cut scenes. Don't like it, don't watch it, if you watch after the warning that's on you.

yea i stopped watching his as soon as the prologue showed up, i was surprised it did, because i know that theyve been pretty particular about enforcing their "no prologue policy". I think its kind of funny he thinks its been shown before, because thats the first time ive ever seen it, shut it off after like 5 secs. Im not one to shy away from spoilers having devoured everything thats been put out, but that was a bit too much. It seems little Joe hasnt been keeping up, not that i think he particularly cares about DAI, but he is good advertisement for the game, having such a large audience and all. For that reason alone, his little misstep should be pardoned.

Glad they let Angry Joe repost. It's rare you get a popular reviewer simply GUSHING about a game. No need for ill will and hopefully his followers see the vid and give DAI a try.

Gonna disagree with you there. I think he does care about the Dragon Age franchise and is hoping this game is awesome, just judging by some of his comments on this walkthrough as well as his earlier reviews for DA2 and such.

it seems the breach expands and the mark on your hand expands, which is what will eventually kill you, but if the breach is no longer expanding then it is no longer killing you correct?

It's great he got approval, but to be fair his is the first time the prologue is ever seen. Only people at demos have seen it, so "we" is very limited.

 

In all other videos they (whoever made the vids) repeatedly said that they were only allowed to show character creation and the hinterlands.

 

I guess it's easier to do your own thing when you have hordes of fans.

Yeah, I'm really hoping Bioware gets a home run with this game, so I'm glad they're not alienating a really positive reviewer.  (I'm actually having the self-restraint not to watch it 'cuz I'm really trying to leave some surprises in this game.)  I was disappointed that PC Gamer seemed to have a much less flattering impression, but people have do have differing opinions and perspectives.  I love Zero Punctuation, and I'm hoping he basically approves.  (He was mostly positive about DA:O.)
