doing my achievement quick run to get 100% and dis time I took 2 handed dps build

I took 3 points in Two handed tree for the 2 passives.

so far (I think I'm level 10) I got the basic "Berserk" ability and all else in vanguard.

 

berserk runs all the time never runs out of energy... then I use Control on vanguard tree and then when I see all those puny squishy mobs jumping down I quickly activate the 2 vanguards abilities (I think cleave and assail ?) basically what's happening after that 1 hit on mob in center of the group cause an ATOMIC EXPLOSION! and everyone goes boom.

 

that's how it should be working? didn't maxed my berserker yet... didn't took my Templar levels to get extra juice vs casters and didn't even maxed vanguard tree but what in maker's name is going on here  ? O_O

Well, Berserk allows you to add part of your stamina onto the damage, effectively making your Willpower a second damage stat.  Cleave boosts damage by 75% for a short time, and Assail by 10% - that's a crazy damage upgrade, which is why Berserker/Vanguard is so broken.  

 

An upgraded Cleave can stagger opponents, and maybe your other characters are taking advantage of that by CC combos?  Also, near the end of the Vanguard tree if you're there are things that can auto-kill weaker enemies (Massacre) and greatly reduce damage resistance (Destroyer).

 

As for stamina regeneration?  The likely explanation is gear, or ally talents, granting a bonus to regeneration.  Gear that boosts Willpower, too, might be helping with a large stamina pool.
