Just wondering if anyones got any good ideas for weapon names.

I'm thinking of making a weapon for each companions

 

The Iron bull's is defiantly a two handed weapon called- 

THE COMPENSATOR

 

any other ideas for the different companion

2 Geat sword: Ooooh thats a bigun.

 

3 sword. Madik. I stabed him whith Madick.

 

4 Hammer: Matits.. you can guess

For the moment just thought of my inquisitor's weapons names:

 

Anders: La Pesadilla del Templario (Spanish because it's more romantic and that will look better with the ladies) STAFF

 

Durin: The foot of Andraste (did random roll on F.A.T.A.L rulebook...) 1H MACE

 

Shayle: "Karl" (a story very similar to bianca... i supposse) 2H MAWL

 

Cynthia: Longhair (protest for lack of hairs for qunari females) 2H SWORD

 

Blargha: WidowQueenMaker (Plan to behead 17 evil shemlen lords with it) 2H AXE

 

Raven: "Talon" and "Beak" PUNCH DAGGERS (sigh... wanted them to be 1H swords)

 

Altatalwi: The Dales Queen's Staff STAFF  (duh)

Thought on some companion's weapons right now:

 

Sera: Barefeet BOW

Blackwall: Mini Daisy cutter 1H AXE

Vivienne: True Lawfull (as her aligment) STAFF

IronBull: Butterfly Sword (i hope we can craft something like that) 2H SWORD

Haven't really planned what I'm going to name my weapons for my second and third Inquisitors, though I already came up with names for my first Inquisitor's weapons.

 

Going dual-wield rogue, so I'll have twin daggers named Lath and Abelas ('love' and 'sorrow' respectively).  Had to give them elvish names because I'm going f!Dalish in my first playthrough (and RP reasons).  

 

Will probably give my second Inquisitor's (m!Qunari) greatsword/battleaxe a name in Qunlat.

 

As for my third Inquisitor (f!Cadash), I'm not sure what I'll name her bow.  Haven't even given her a name yet.

 

Will probably figure something out for my companions' weapons on the fly, tbh.

"Ghost and Shadow" DAGGERS for cole

"Magister's scepter" STAFF for dorian 

"Vigilance and Sacrifice" SWORD AND SHEILD for black wall

NO the Bioware rules clearly state that all players must name at least 1 shield Merauder.

2H:

Greatsword/Spire/Zweihander/Flamberge/Espadon/Highlander

Great Axe/Tabar/Great Cleaver/Battle Axe/Panabas/Labrys/Bardiche

War Hammer/Maul/Mallet/Pillar/Pulverizer

 

Descriptor: tossing is a "the" is optional:

Subtle/Powerful/Arcing/Surging/Unstable/Fallen/Raging/Blazing/Rancid/Widowed/Perilous/Corrupted/Risen/Shining/Daunting/Perfect/Eternal/Endless/Relentless

 

Suffix:

I have a lot more, I just don't want to type them all.

 

Obviously, not all of these can go well together: Dagger of Corrupted Corruption or Hammer of the Blazing Blaze, while hilarious, sounds like something out of Adventure Time and that's not what I'm after, personally.

 

However, I am rather fond of names like Spire of Unstable Currents, Blade of the Risen King, Pillar of Surging Shadows, Etc, etc

Honestly.  It will depend on what is going on and what I am playing but I can tell you I will name at least one staff "Speak Softly" and I may name something awesome and two handed "big stick".
