All of my nwn2 mods are on this blog page. Most are also on the old and new vaults and some are also on Nexus.

I found the SOZ mod with the passenger manifest, now I'm torturing my way through making my own party editor. So far I've put 00_roster in the conversation field of my placeable book.
yep.
- create and place the book, and have it start a pre-written skeleton conversation (eg. '00_roster') via a stock onUsed event-script like 'gp_talk_object'. The book itself has to be flagged "usable" and likely needs to have some hitpoints (oddly enough). You might also want to flag it "Plot".
- once you can access that skeleton (or template) dialog InGame, go back to the toolset and tweak up your dialog with actions like 'gui_party_creation'

it sorta sounds like the dialog file '00_roster' has not been made available to your campaign yet.
It needs to be copied from the SoZ campaign folder to your own campaign folder (?) Then it should appear in the dropdown list
...after restarting the toolset

that's the file.
try copying it to your module folder (your campaign folder might not be properly associated with the module, so it's not being used yet)
if you're not working in "directory mode" you'll have to "save as directory" and if you have a .MOD it gets turned into an entire folder, where the dialog can be simply dropped inside. And the toolset restarted ...
note that converting a module to a directory is only done once; after that just do a regular save and it stays as a directory.

Keldor's mods for multiple PCs and the SOZ death system are fixes for what--for me--are horrible flaws in the OC. Great job, Keldor! I want to install them, but I'm too drunk now. I got the gui_party_creation to work in my campaign, and it seems like it would be easy to add to the OC in the toolset.
I found this, but it doesn't work--I think they changed the game coversations:

Once you are sober I suggest you install my OC Makeover as is and also look at my Kings Festival campaign. Like you I started off just wanting the SoZ death and party editor in my stand alone campaign King's Festival. No one else had posted a campaign with those features yet so I felt pretty good when I released it. Then in the forums someone was bemoaning the lack of SoZ features in the OC and without thinking much about it I responded that it wouldn't be too hard to adapt what i had done for the OC. I'm glad I did but it did take several months, time I was going to spend playing MotB. Of course within a week or two of releasing the OC Makeover someone asked if I could do the same for MotB. I thought that would be quicker, but I decided since i hadnt yet had time to play MotB i better ask the community what they didn't like about it. So i did modify a number of story related things in MotB that bothered people as well as allowing the return of some of the OC companions in a way that fit the MotB mood. So that was also a several month effort. I will probably repackage the MotB Makeover as a single install, since it currently requires applying patches. I don't plan on making any more changes though.
I do have a mod for allowing the party editor in MoW as well.

The above is for in game companions only. The MotB companion conversations limit the number of companions. I addressed this limitation in the MotB Makeover. The thing about an old game is people are always coming late to the party and thinking they just discovered beer.
