Hey there, i'm a mass effect 2 fan as all of you i suppose, will this game have a multi-language pack included? or at least available via dlc? The thing is i live in france and i'm currently playing mass effect 1 and it's totally french, with no way to put in english, there's no option and no language dlc whatsoever. French is really annoying in video games <_<, and given the actors that will give their voices to the characters (i'm a BIG fan of Battlestar Galactica) in the sequel, well i'm just so eager to play it in the original version.
So, any chance for multi-language option, or a dlc possibility?

I also would play an english version in any case but having knowledge whether it is multilanguage or not can certainly orient the decision in what shop buying the game.



So it's indeed a very important question and Bioware should give us some info considering that a lot of people are waiting for an answer to this specific question before they preorder or buy the game

You could try ordering Mass Effect 2 from Amazon.co.uk. They may have it in stock in Amazon's distribution centre in France if you're lucky and ship it from there. A friend of mine lives in Germany and orders only from Amazon UK to avoid getting his stuff with german voiceovers.

There was a response in this forum here from a bioware-mod who said that the english voiceover would be donwloadable at release (talking about the 360-Version here, seeing that the PC-Version has multible languages out of the box). Because of that i cancelled my pre-order at amazon.uk and ordered a german CE. I REALLY hope that this wasn't that Mods idea of a joke. I would really like a confirmation on this.

For the Xbox 360 Version I'm sorry for you but the discs contain only the localized language (French in your case)

For the PC Version there is also the English language in the discs (actually there are English, Italian, French, German and Spanish) and this was confirmed even by a Dev to me by PM a few days ago



As for an English VO pack downloadable from Xbox Live, I know nothing about it.. as far as I'm concerned I'm fine, since I can play my PC version in English instead of a lousy and very disappointing Italian

I heard some french voices, Samara mostly -> really bad... So english voices are a must-have to me.

When you install ME1 via autorun you can choose english language by clicking the canadian flag in the top left corner of the installation window. Its very small and most people overlook it.

unfortunately, i bought the game in french, cuz no retailer in paris had the original version... now i'm stuck with lousy french voices, but i IMPLORE the devs to put the ENGLISH VOICEon xbox live, it would make me so happy to have the voices of Saul Tigh and the cylon from Battlestar Galactica in Mass Effect 2!!
