Shhhhh!   I'm betting that the Liara haters would come out if they knew who the VA was.  It's N7 day.  Let the angry fans sleep.

Not a big fan of Oghren, but I wouldn't mind seeing Sten and Shale again.  Sten was in the comics, and Shale was in Asunder, so at least we know they're still alive, right?

Aw, I loved Oghren. Even if he was a drunk, you could tell he was a good person at heart. I liked being able to be there for him because it was all too obvious that he really needed a good friend in a desperate way.

I didn't like him after Awakening.  Mainly because, I don't find someone that's a fall down drunk funny or endearing.

 

 It wasn't as bad during Origins, where he fell over drunk three times in a long game.  Hell, one of those times was when my Warden passed out first, and it didn't bother me.  And I largely agree with you for the most part; he was a pervert with a heart of gold.  Not a bad guy and by the end of Origins, I liked him despite some aspects of his character.  

 

Then Awakening.  Oghren fell over drunk three times in a 10 hour expansion.   And I was left with the idea I was supposed to find that funny, with parts such as the "pony" comments.  That wasn't funny to me, that was the sign of a pathetic wreck of a man. 

 

I am not going to pretend that my Warden doing his quest made everything all better, not by a long shot.  The fact that he was still a drunk made sense to me.  It just seemed like the writers unintentionally played up his alcoholism for laughs instead of being more serious about it.

I think it would be cool to have an intelligent Dark-spawn companion in DA4.

 

Or maybe the protagonist can even be a Dark-spawn him or herself. We could see things from the other point of view.

Yeah, they did do that didn't they? Pretty irresponsible really. It did take a bit away from his character didn't it? It didn't make me dislike him though. I'm more upset with the writers over that. I would still like to see him again, if anything, just to see how he's getting along after so much time has passed. Would be nice to see him actually doing better. Of course, I would like to see his character not played off just for laughs should it ever be done because you are right. Alcoholism is not funny.

I hope this thread doesn't become next female kossith LI s*itstorm but Harding does make my heart skip a beat in both authentic adoration and pure dread.
