Stopping someone from belittling others in their replies is something useful to add, so please mind your own business. I originally came to the forums looking up the thread exception problem in ME, and in two different threads I was reading Gorath Alpha's rude and snooty replies, so why don't you just move along.

While I don't mod these particular forums, I am a moderator on this site. You're being the 'bad guy' in that you resurrected a months old thread solely for the purpose of insulting someone else. You neither tried to add to the information in the thread nor asked for help. The very definition of trolling. Clear enough?

The definition of a troll is one who post something stupid or extraneous as to provoke an emotional response, and yes off topic. The purpose of my post was not to flame anyone or to start some idiotic rant on this thread. Did my post contain anything about the general protection error in which this thread was about? No. I fixed the problem from reading these posts, but I did not like the way that Gorath Alpha responded to people, so I spoke up where others would not. If you are a moderator on these forums Eurypterid then you should have the rights to view my submissions to the forum moderators. I apologize for this going so far, but if Gorath Alpha would not have told me to, "Get over it." I would never have kept posting. Since you say you mod, you know how the story goes. I respect others on forums, and I do not appreciate when people act rudely to one another whenever they make a simple mistake. My purpose was not to insult, it was to bring to Gorath Alpha's attention that others read what he posts to people.

If you have an issue with they way another forum member is posting, bring it to the attention of a moderator. There's no need to resurrect a months old thread just to call that person out on the forums. It's easy to point the finger at someone else and say "Well, if they hadn't done this, then I wouldn't have done that". That doesn't excuse the fact that by reviving an old thread to chastise someone else, you're in effect trolling that person. Agreed that we're off topic here, so let's leave it at that. If you wish to discuss it further, feel free to toss me a PM.
