Does anyone know if Dragon Age Inquisition on PC has controller support? Correct me if I am wrong but I don't remember the previous games allowing you to use a controller on PC and it would seem going by early review impressions that Inquisition was made more with a controller in mind.

DAI does have controller support on PC. It already been confirmed.

When looking at a single game that is well-optimized for all of the platforms it's on, having a PC is better.

That's why when the guy asks "PC or PS4 for this game?" and then goes on to tell us that he has a pretty sweet PC, it's a no-brainer. If you choose to take it personally, that's your business.

it actually doesn't matter because this debate will continue long after I am dead and I don't have the energy any more. I am too ffing old!

Thanks for the replies, I'm gonna just get it on PC I think.  The last game I tried to play on PC was wildstar and it scared me off of PC games quite a bit.  It was really laggy especially in towns.  I haven't really touched any bioware games on PC since neverwinter so I wasn't sure how their doing at optimization.  Thanks all

Go for PC :) your rig will do da3 justice :D plus wildstar is badly optimized when it was first out and still is, in fact game is even dying now by being way too hardcore that there's only 2 guilds doing progression lol

you might want to consider whether if you're gonna coop with friends on pc or ps4 as well for da3 multiplayer if you're planning to play it alot. but if it's solely based on performance for singleplayer, i'd vote for your pc :)

Really? PC of course. My goodness why do these threads keep popping up? There's no comparison. If you have a PC that can run DAI, get it for PC.

I agree hun. Even though you are a console peasent majority of the time, you still manage to speak sense.

OMG thank you. These threads are so pointless. If you have a PC that can run the game, get the PC version. Simple as that. You don't need to be a genius to figure it out.

Eh it depends on the game, too many times I have seen a poorly optimized PC port and sometimes it is worthwhile to go for the console version. Situations vary.

This is exactly what irritates me about PC owners. They call themselves the Master Race and console owners are peasants. It really sets off a sort of prejudice among gamers. It is so immature and childlike behavior.

I'll be getting it on PS4. I can't afford a high end PC and I'm not good with computers anyway and find them to finicky for my tastes.

But for DAI resolutions and stats have been released. It's already been confirmed DAI will support 4K gaming. So speaking in terms of DAI, it would be better to get it for PC. My two cents anyway.

Some people can't take a joke.

Most of the time the PCMR thing is just satire. It's not meant to be serious (although there are a few that do take it seriously).

First rule is to grow a thick skin  in any forum then get your own back ;) ,I was a console gamer at one time many decades ago but prefer PC gaming  for many  reasons I won't bore you with.

I really wasn't pointing you at directly but a general consensus of what I see online in other gaming community. PC gamers have adopted this meme and it makes them feel like they can do no wrong and everything on consoles is dreadful.

Now that is very helpful information to people on the fence thinking about which platform to buy the game for, I am sure there were people in the thread who did not know that and are now enlightened thanks to the OP asking the question that some would deem stupid, see why such threads are helpful?

Yeah, pretty much this. I make PC Master Race jokes all the time, but I have a PS3 & a PS4 as well and they have some excellent exclusives (Naughty Dog's games particularly). I prefer PC when I have the choice (I prefer mouse and keyboard over controller), but consoles are fine too for what they do for the price and for gaming without the technical hassles.

Yeah but those people are mostly insecure console peasants who should be treated with scorn like the filth they are.

The ironic thing is the whole PC Master Race thing was started by the console owners to be meant as a sort of insult.   So a lot of PC owners just took it and ran with it.

I'll throw in my gauntlet here on this topic because well why not....I have a good mid to high end gaming PC and I'm reverting back to my console days..my first love if you will. There's just something about console gaming that is nostalgic for me and honestly I'm not a huge graphics...war monger if you will...

Choose the platform you like to play on, it's simple as that.

That's exactly my story Sir. I played with PC A LOT in the last couple of years (still playing strategy games there), however when I take the controller of my PS4 It feels so good, brings me back good old memories......i totally understand you.

Console owners are NOT peasants. Console peasants are a specific subgroup of console owners who claim console gaming is superior to PC gaming, and who spread other minsinformation like "30 fps is more cinematic".

The PC Master Race consists of people who believe PC gaming is superior to console gaming. You don't even have to own a PC to be a brother of the master race.

And yes, it's mostly used as a joke.

You quoted me first mun after I replied to another user and the conversation followed on from there to it's logical conclusion, if you had no wish to get involved then perhaps you should have just stood aside.
