it seems to me only the companions can either betray (leave) you or be killed by you? The advisors are here to stay because they got the war table thingy.

I hope not because i am quite sure i want to either lock Cullen up or kill him because he is a templar in one of my playthroughs because i just hate templars and the way the persecute against the mages. though in another world, i probably romance him for his golden locks.

but i really hope i can kill Vivivenne if she is really just a self-serving b**** who only cares about being the First Enchanter of a repressing system that is the circle.

which advisor and companion would you want them to leave asap?

They can probably be executed and fired or leave you based on your choices at any point. If companions can die, then I'm sure advisers can too.

The inquisitor takes over everything on their own, probably.

I think they probably are not killable because of the war table, but we honestly just don't know at this point. I know from some of the dev tweets that you can really send Cullen out and get him injured (they joked about giving him more scars, I think) on some missions, so maybe that will be good enough for those who hate Cullen?

Personally, I'm fine with all the advisors and wouldn't want them to leave. I'm not sure about the companions, because they are still mostly unknown until I can actually get to know them.

I think they said you can't remove The advisors.
They might die, but I think it'll be near endgame if it'll happen.
The fact that they Don't share The same approval system of companion is another hint of Them not being removable.

Uh, if they don't share the same approval system, then how exactly does romancing Cullen or Josephine work? I thought they usually tied approval into that?

Scout Harding can be recruited as your new spymaster.
Sister Petrice or Anders can be recruited as your new diplomat.
Teyrn Loghain can be recruited as your new military commander.

There :P

so basically anyone who killed the last three, is shafted if they somehow killed off the original advisers?

Well, we know from E3 that it's possibly to send Leliana out and get her captured and tortured but I don't recall if they ever said that was a scripted event that happens every single time or if you had a choice of who to send (possibly between her and cullen) but I doubt they can be killed.

This whole obsession a lot of the BSN has with executing people is really disturbing.

I think a lot of you should be locked up.

I hope so, it feels wrong that someone I killed is still alive and I'd like the chance to rectify that.

Though I suppose if I can't kill her then that will have to suffice.

Anders can be recruited as your new diplomat.

That sure would go over well with the Templars. ;-)

Oh yeah, like a rock. :D

And it would go over just swimmingly with my pro-Templar Hawke world state I've got planned for my second time through DA:I, I'm sure.   :P

Considering you can keep playing after the end of the main storyline, and that the war table is such a large part of gameplay - and advisor dependant - I think it's safe to say that killing or removing any of the advisors at any stage is impossible.

Somehow I knew this was about Cullen even without coming into this thread. If Cullen wasn't a pretty guy, I doubt there would be this much animosity or love for this guy.

Wow violent tendencies from the OP.

I don't think Cullen will be very templar in Inquisition, he has left that life behind him. He just understands the dangers of magic from first hand knowledge, especially the Circle Tower problems from Origins.

Vivienne seems like an educated companion(Mary Kirby wrote her didn't she?) she will no doubt be a very good character to have along in our party.

Just wait and play the game OP, I'm sure your mind will change.

I want to make it so Cullen dies.

No mercy for what he wanted to do to the mages in origins. He must die.

It's interesting to note that when people want to kill Tallis (or Anders or Sebastian) it's all fine and dandy but when someone wants to kill Cullen they get accused of having violent tendencies.

Same logic as tumblr. If they are cute they can do no wrong.

Hell even if they stalk them Maroon 5 Animals style they're still fine and dandy.

Kill off an entire specific subset of a race for something they had no choice in being? Pssshh no buggy he has some cute hair <3 otp but muh babieh

I doubt that, they provide an essential gameplay system, they would have to have replacements if they were leavekillable.

I'm not exactly a Cullen fan, but what did he do that was so wrong exactly? And why would The Inquisitor care? (Please don't let this be the epilogue slide that has already been dismissed as a rumour)
