For all the Gaspard devotees:
They considered naming a river in Orlais after Gaspard de Chalons, but they thought better of it because no one crosses Gaspard de Chalons and lives.
Gaspard actually died during the events of the novel. Death just hasn't gotten up the nerve to tell him yet.
Gaspard de Chalons has a wyvern-skin settee in his personal rooms. The Wyvern the skin belongs to isn't actually dead or separated from any part of it's skin...It's just afraid to move.
When Darkspawn emissaries go to sleep at night...they check the shadows for Gaspard de Chalons.
Gaspard de Chalons does not read scrolls. He stares them down until he gets the information he wants.
And also...
Gaspard does not take a bath to wash off his make-up at the end of the day. Water just wants to be around him.

So, any news about the ending? From what I understand Celene is an ungrateful ****** and Gaspard invades Ferelden. Do we really have an option to convince them to work together or not?

So I get Gaspard doing it.
Lets put it like that.

Alright, here you go...
Gaspard de Chalons has warned a Rivaini Seer.
He once brought a dagger to a Ballista fight...just to even the odds.
When he meets the Divine, the Divine kisses his ring.
He once taught a Ferelden-bred Mabari how to bark in Orlesian.
The Urn of Sacred ashes didn't just disappear...It's is looking for him.
Deep stalkers refuse to bite him, purely out of respect.
His ham never tastes of despair. It sits there, being cheerful, exclusively for him.
When wolves try to take down a bear, they reference his technique.
He is Gaspard de Chalons.

Nevarra has...other things to focus on besides Orlais.
So I get Gaspard doing it.
Lets put it like that.
Oh good, was worried for a while there, thankyou. Alright, time for me and Gaspard to return to the task of kicking ass and taking names

There's a war table mission that might have done it, 16hr long with Josephine and Alistair and Gaspard came to an accord
Oh good. So I can side with him now without kicking myself in the shin.
Jesus 16 hours though? Gonna have to give Josie a raise. ![]()

this actually makes me happy. Still not sure if my quizzy will side with Celene or Gaspard yet, but I like knowing that there are options ![]()
Btw what would a noble like the trevelyans from Ostwick know about Gaspard and Celene? I am mainly trying to get a feel for what Navilia would know and her own opinions.

That's explain it.
Well, that's sealed the deal for me now I'm totally fine with Gaspard as sole ruler of Orlais now.
Ahahahahaha, Celene you poor doomed fool.

What happened in that one with his relationship with the Inquisition? Did you recieve cold receptions at court or was he greatful or receptive to the Inquisition?
Also who became Divine in your playthrough?

I max'd my court approval if that is what you meant, played an Elf so it started at 30, and Leliana was my Divine. I messed that one up, would have preferred Cassandra.

Really? You can prevent him from invading Ferelden. Hmmm, and Cassandra gains approval if you side with Gaspard. Hmmm. I could support Gaspard as Emperor as long as Ferelden is left alone. I like the idea of the Inquisition being able to facilitate peace between these two nations.

Gaspard is the Grand Duke (military leader of Orlais) so yes, its like foreign nobles would know of him. The more important question is if any Orlias noble knows of where Ostwick is on the map. After all, why would they care about backwater fmarchers (little better then Ferelden dog lords in their eyes). That said, you are a human noble so at least your be afford a minimum of respect.

They don't like Marchers, but they seem to at least know about Ostwick given they talk about it at the Ball. The Trevelyans are also a prominent family regardless.
