Gaspard is the Grand Duke (military leader of Orlais) so yes, its like foreign nobles would know of him. The more important question is if any Orlias noble knows of where Ostwick is on the map. After all, why would they care about backwater fmarchers (little better then Ferelden dog lords in their eyes). That said, you are a human noble so at least your be afford a minimum of respect.

I am more interested in what sort of things would be most commonly known about Celene and Gaspard for one of the younger Trevelyan daughters. Mainly to have an idea of whom Navillia is going to support, as I like roleplaying characters.

Well lets see
They'd know both of them by reputation of course, Orlais is the most powerful nation in thedas besides the Qunari so people would pay attention to its goings on.
They would know that Emperor Floran favored Gaspard / didn't want Celene to succeed him in how he sent her main ally and (Cousin?) Duke Propser away to Nevarra/the Marches.

They would have heard of the rumors that Celene assassinated Florian to come to the throne (we get codex's on this)
They would know Celene is a great and famous dipomatic (Its mentioned in Inquisition by Josephine I believe - that foreign rulers regard her as such)

They'd know Gaspard is a famous general with numerous victories won for Orlais (this is common knowlegde).

They'd know about the tensions within the court and how a fair chunk of southern Orlais supports Gaspard

They'd know how Gaspard sucessfully lead Celene into an ambush
They'd know how Celene burned down Halamshiral after an elven uprising there

They'd know of Celenes attempts to try and maintain the peace she made with Ferelden despite how weak it is after the blight

Idk what else they'd know beyond that

Really? You can prevent him from invading Ferelden. Hmmm, and Cassandra gains approval if you side with Gaspard. Hmmm. I could support Gaspard as Emperor as long as Ferelden is left alone. I like the idea of the Inquisition being able to facilitate peace between these two nations.
