Wouldn't it have been baller if you could get exiled Gaspard as an agent for the Inquisition?
It would have helped us get near total control of Orlais. A grand step toward complete domination.

Not great, the civil war is concluded only the replaced by a war of intrigue. Celene desperately clings to the Inquisition, Gaspard starts making moves to try and gain the throne once more.. And It just says how things are really tense with the elves due to Brialas's rebellion
I got no war with Ferelden in my ending with him as Emperor
Me too. He rules alone in my game and he does not invade Fereldan. I believe there is a war table mission with Anora about her being worried about an invasion after the Wicked quest. I did it.

Oh man, I totally cut him down because I thought he'd go to war sooner or later. Sorry Gaspard
If you have Celene assassinated and make Gaspard a puppet for Briala, then handle peace talks via war table, you control Orlais by proxy and give elves throughout thedas a real chance of regaining equality.
Gaspard can't be trusted since he is a master of self-deception, but you can control him with his own games.

Won't be your puppet for long, people get sick of his (Brialas) rapid rate of reforms and form coalition with the plan of overthrowing him.
Give the man free reign
So, I suppose the best ending is having Gaspard rule solo while convincing him to leave Ferelden alone by war table missions?

C'mon guys, how can you say no to this face
She's hurtin' you denied her the throne

The best ending is having Celene and Briala reconcile. Apparently that results in elves getting lots of rights, Orlais reaching a new golden age, and peace throughout the country. Convincing all 3 to work together just causes Celene to rely on the Inquisition for support while Briala and Gaspard plot to fight Celene again. This makes sense as getting all 3 to work together is due to blackmail, not actually convincing them to overcome their differences while reconciling Celene and Briala convinces them to forgive each other
Gaspard is cool and all, but I wish he showed up in some fancy chevalier style uniform rather than Duke Prosper's outfit (even though I liked Duke Prosper and his snazzy duds).
By the way shouldn't the title be: Gaspard de Chalons, vile traitor or savior of Orlais?
Finally!!!
Just skip to 0:30
Gaspard's slideshow during the epilogue. (Gaspard as sole ruler of Orlais, Celene and Briala is dead, and it seems like the uploader of this video completed the 16 hour long war table mission that Orlais and Ferelden will be at peace with each other)
I knew he is the best choice for Orlais.
Gaspard de Chalons, the ruler Orlais needs, the Emperor Thedas needs!

Of course there will be resistance, but they respect the Inquisition too much to revolt in my main world.

Doesn't mean they'll respect the Inquisition's power forever, nor that the Inquisition's power will remain strong forever. There are always a threat, and new threat who seek to rise.
Is there video where Gaspard dies?

Same can be said of any power in Thedas. At least you can lay a good foundation to keep the equality assuming such respect erodes over time. It's a damned sight better than elves staying in alienages forever and relying on the dalish to go to war one day.
Anyone can show the ending slide were Celene and Briala work together? I'm still trying to figure out the best outcome.

If I remember correctly there is no execution scene nor the scene that show the player killing him. Celene just calls the guard to take him away before execute him later. (That will never happen in any of my play-through)
Yes. He face his death with digninity. Real Emperor, born to be badass.

He doesn't even flinch nor beg for mercy. At least if you don't like him, you'll have to respect him for that. Gaspard de Chalons, the True Emperor, the Lion of Orlais.

Not really, given that he started all this crap to begin with.

It's bond to happen either way since many nobles weren't too please with Celene. Gaspard happens to be the man who's leading rebellion against her.
