This is fine.
Lol.
Yeah, I'm not fretting over much about it. In general I'm still pretty satisfied with the equal opportunity blackmail option.

so who is this magical heir they didn't have when all the other heirs also died?
I believe that Briala gets a very special 'ability' in this situation.

Hey, can you really discount the possibility that the Black Emporium sells something that gives a little something extra?

Wait.
...Magical conception?
Weird thought.

No, I meant temporary but fully functional male genitalia.
Yes, or Maker help me I hope so.
By the sweet pyre of Andraste.
Now who's the prude?

Now who's the prude?
LOL!
Okay.
I did not pick up on that...at first.
lol. Okay.
Saying this was possible, just for the sake of argument, are you sure it would even help? The perception of "legitimacy" is an issue with an heir. I'm not so convinced the nobility would just accept one with an unknown father.
Not to mention to rumors that might end up circulating. Celene already has a rep for being over fond of the arcane, and that smacks of blood magic, at the least.
LOL!

Well, it was mostly a joke. However, while legitimacy is a thing, we haven't noticed bastards being disinherited in the same way they would be in our world; Alistair, for instance, was still eligible for the throne. They wouldn't be the first choice, but seem to be preferable over people with no blood connection.
this thread should be burned

Ah, and in one more way, Briala conquers Gaspard.

Well at least the last page or two...
What in the actual and literal **** did I just read?
Lol!
Ah, and once more, Briala conquers Gaspard.
Xil you must be confused.
Celene's former sex toy was executed allowing Emperor Gaspard to assume his throne unchallenged.
Lol!
Hey, it's worth considering, no? If Xenon comes through with this, we'd be able to solve the succession crisis quite neatly indeed, and in a way that'd leave very few people suspecting the child would have elven blood. As a bonus, Briala's rather less likely to need Thedosian Viagra than Gaspard would.
It's really not worth considering at all. We all know it's not going to happen. You've caused a problem, and now you have to live with it.

So do you just want to go for the gold with the Gross when you're not calling for writers to be burned alive?
Because you're a pretty strong contender for the gold with the Gross.

Hey, it was MaZ who started talks about sex and the succession crisis. I'm just following along on the topic.
In any case, given that Celene and Briala actually like each other, I can't possibly see how this is more gross than trying to force Celene and Gaspard together.

Right, by going for the gold with the Gross.
Which is I suppose better than calling for someone to be burned IRL for writing something you didn't like in a book.
Omigod, I wish Boom were here.

I was talking about a political match, with two people I would never expect to actually touch each other.
But I do actually hate the idea of reuniting Celene and Briala.
I'd rather make Briala part of the Inquisition spy network, and see her walking around Skyhold like Michel.

I swear, on every ounce of decency I have, I wasn't expecting this to be the conversation I would start.
