As far as I understood it the PC version this time around does NOT come with framrate CAP. There will be a benchmark utility included with the game so you can test FPS before playing. This I am thankfull for so I can test mantle/DX11 before starting the game. Hoping mantle delivers in smooth minimum fps with everyting at max.
30 fps or 60 fps?

Yeah… we can hope and it probably will, still you never know!

30 fps for console plebs that choose to ruin the DA:I experience with a controler.
60 fps+ for PC master race who choose to enjoy DA:I in their comfy chair with superior mouse and keyboard.
I get to enjoy it from my comfy bed, and controllers are, IMO, much better. To the Fade with you and your M&K.

I'll be playing from my comfy double-bed aswell!
With my big screen TV close enough that I'll have to turn my head 30 degrees every time another person talks. The console vs pc master race was mostly a joke (mostly
). I don't see how people can willingly throw away the superior manoeuvrability of keyboard and mouse for a controler though.

To be honest I've never really seen the difference between 30 or 60. To me it all looks the same. Only time I notice is when it dips below 30. Hence why I'm getting it on ps4 and not ps3.
Some people notice the difference, and some people don't.
But even some of those who don't really notice the difference get really worked up when the developers announce the game will be played at 30FPS just 'cause other people are reacting that way.
It's kinda like how so many people with no experience in building computers often comment something like "ha, console doesn't cost $1500 to play games" whenever there's an argument between PC and console.
I have both PC and console, by the way. So I don't care which is better. Each has its own merits.

Not too keen on the 24" though. I haven't been able to play on anything less than 27" mon's for a while now.
Of course for DAI, I'll be Shadowplaying it out to a 65" 4k Ultra screen in the den with 7.1 dts...

I have both the Xbox one and the Ps4 and my computer! So I'm set to play, still some games feels better to play on the pc than the console and vice versa

Because it doesn't feel superior to them. I used to play M+KB games in the 90s when many styles of games weren't on consoles, but I couldn't go back to that today. I do sometimes play games on PC, but always with controller support. The joysticks make moving feel much more natural to me, so I question "superior maneuverability." A m+kb setup feels almost painful to me (and did actually hurt my wrists a lot as a kid when I played on computers) and every time someone has gotten me to try it, I've just felt annoyed by the controls. A controller makes it feel fun, like a game.

I'm primarily a PC gamer, but it really depends upon the game for my set up. For stuff like Crisis Core (which was action orientated) GoW or the Arkham games, I always go with a controller. I handle those games better that way. For those kinds of games on my PC, I set up a USB controller. Action games tend to play awkwardly on the PC, at least for my own experience.
I love a keyboard and Naga mouse set up for RPGs and strategy games though. So I wouldn't call either going with a controller or a m/k a waste. Just depends upon what your comfy with. ![]()

30 FPS on console and 60 FPS on PC, I'll buy the PC version then!
there is no limit on pc, unless you are using vsync. Its all about how much your comp can handle

Hi people!
So a question!
Is Dragon Age Inquisition going to play at 30 FPS or 60 FPS and if 60 FPS on which console or is it on the PC?
You can see comparison of 30fps vs 60fps Inquisition gameplay here: http://forum.bioware...ameplay-videos/

If you cant tell the difference between 30 and 60 fps you need to schedule an eye exam immediately. Because something is VERY wrong.

Like kipac just said, some people can see it some can't. It doesn't indicate anything is wrong, everyone's eyes and not to mention their brain which processes that information, is wired differently.

FOOL! It is BioWare approved that consoles are the superiourest system for games!
Yeah, sorry about that. But we want to focus on the superiorest platform.
Regarding the "no ME4 for PC" question. This evidence is irrefutable!

Ugh this again.
People should just play on whatever they want too.
Yes PC has better graphics etc but not everyone can afford a decent PC that can run those kinds of games.
If you're happy playing on your last-gen console then you're a winner. And no one has the right to tell you that you should be playing on PC.
Chill.

It kinda amazes me that someone with such a super powerful gaming rig would willingly sully it with that AMD CPU. Then again, I don't really understand why people buy AMD CPUs to begin with, unless the budget is extremely tight.
It does the trick. Easier to overclock and can take more heat, but with a watercooler installed you won't have a problem with overheating. I guess preferances differ.
