Watching more dialogue cut scenes I've noticed that the insides of the mouths have quite a lot of grey in them. They are not pink or flesh coloured but a greyish hue.

I noticed it mostly in the Angry Joe game demo, I noticed it in the character creator when you test the voice and in dialogue with Cassandra. EDIT: you cannot see it when you are side on to the character but when you are directly in front of the person you can see it. I saw it because I watch the mouth movements with dialogue and this weird grey hue in the mouths is really bizarre and not the sort of thing I would expect from a game that is out in under two weeks.

Will there be a day one patch fixing the colour for the mouths? Or is this a limitation of consoles?

Hasn't this been the case for every Dragon age game?

With or without the Frostbite 3 engine?

With or without the Frostbite 3 engine?

None of them used Frostbite though I'll be concerned if they prioritized rendering mouth flesh instead of using it on something more productive like say...the environment.

Of course I knew that... I was trying to make a point that with the introduction of the new engine they could have done more to the character models. And they have, just on the outside.

No offense meant, I think the fact that you pay attention to people's mouth flesh is stranger than the fact that people's mouth flesh looks grey from certain angles.

I have to admit I did notice that Cassandra's mouth was indeed grey inside but I got over it, just like DAO's yellow teeth.

Mouth flesh is important since how else can we obtain full immersion without the ability to see their gingivitis inflected, tooth decayed mouths. How else am I going to enjoy romance scenes without a close up of their green saliva coated tongues? You know what, we need smell-o-vision. Halitosis is a must.

@Devil's Avocado:  I can't believe you would mock something so serious as gingivitis... you're insensitive to the gaming community.  Gingivitis plagues like... lots of people who don't brush... and even some who do.  So - it's like, rude to be saying that my character won't brush...

I think you might be racist.  You should get that checked out.

and they have lices and smell very badly because of their job and not much time to wash themselfs  :D

We know magic can cure STDs so I just suppose there's also magic for oral hygiene
