I know the game's gone gold, but is there a switch you can throw to make full dwarven beards accessible to lady dorfs?

 

The stubble we get just looks sorta... cruddy. Like we've forgotten to shave rather than deliberately grown a neat scruff.

I'm still not sure if I'm going to go with stubble for my Lady Cadash at this point.  I have this idea that she is a hard-ass, battle-hardened warrior woman with tattoos and scars and a half-shaved head.  So......yeah, stubble kind of fits her.  I'm just not sure how I'll feel about it until I see it on her.

I would have done a mustache in a heartbeat. I wonder why they felt the need to limit it to just a few options...seems like its a weird half measure that's going to disappoint the people who would use and still irritate the people who think its a bad idea. Not angry, just confused, shrug.

i think it would be more good if devs will not make DA dwarfs to be more tolkien or DnD ones...beards for females is always not a good idea)))

Exactly - the people who hate beards on women won't use the stubble, and the people who want to go full Tolkien are being given crappy options. 

 

I hate the stubble in this game generally, though I'll wait til release to see how I really feel - it looks patchy and mangy. Guess all my dudequisitors are gonna be babyfaced.

i'm in favor with this idea. while i do not believe they will add more option to the char creator i do hope they will take the full beards for female dwaves into concideration. still, stubble is better then nothing and the moment i saw it i knew my female swarf gotta have it

I honestly can not get why people want their femdwarf to have a beard of any kind...
