Tell me another story about The Shepard.
Here's a story that can be told about Shepard
Tell me another story about The Shepard.
What baffles me is that the kid actually wants to hear another one after the end (...well, maybe he simply wants to hear the part where The Shepard had biotic sex with her asari girlfriend again).
What, you don't want more of The Shepard?
DLC, DLC, DLC! Buy, Buy, Buy!
Civilization would have to far pretty fall for such a religion to take hold, like a total collapse of all infrastructure, communications, and most recorded history gets lost. Basically galactic society is dead and gone and all that's left are feral survivalists that have bits and pieces of the past to work with. That's the true true.

Putting a "The" in front of "Shepard" is already a pretty good indication that Shep's on the way to dietyhood, if not already there ![]()

"Tell me another story about the Shepard, Grandpa. That last one sucked. No way that's how it ended"
"You're right, my sweet. I was just messing with you. Here's what really happened..."
Please no.
That was one of the worst aspects of the endings to Mass Effect 3. The religious terminology (the Shepherd) used to refer to Shepard at the end of Mass Effect 3 was cringeworthy.
Also while it perhaps made some sense in the pre-EC endings where civilization collapses, it doesn't make sense post-EC where civilization doesn't fall. We don't worship Julius Caesar, Napoleon, Abraham Lincoln, or Winston Churchill as gods because we have the means to preserve history. We remember that they were mortal men with human flaws. It should be same with Shepard.

It's unfortunate that the stargeezer sequence still has that annoying line about things being lost in time. Like, go replicate some ginkgo root or something. You're slipping.

It was an odd choice to keep that scene around for the EC. It works as as a tribute to space exploration, but beyond that it feels completely disconnected from the high EMS versions of the Extended Cut ending. It really only fits thematically with the original endings.

Huh, I just noticed that.
I dunno, I'm up for one, more, story.

Garrus: "If you can pacify the Reapers, we'll make you a saint".

I actually agree with messiah kid in that one...Destroy wouldn't solve anything in the long term. All species (especially humans) are very prone to forget about the past and make the same mistake (aka, creating synthetics) again, and they rebelling yet again in turn. And it could pass millions of years before another Jesus-Shepard appears.
Besides, poor EDI... ![]()
My femshep didn't commit genocide when choosing destroy and doesn't want to be worshipped by anyone
No, what ever happens at the end Shepard either commits genocide. Takes control of the very things that have been killing everyone and we have been told is terrible. Or forces the galaxy to have green glow eyes destroys all natural life in the galaxy. I don't think any race will be to happy with those outcomes.
Wow. Way to be objective there, buddy. ![]()
According to one slightly angry clone such an exercise is already practiced and they even gave it a fancy name called Cult of Shepard. However I must say my followers were not so forth coming with the credits so until that changes no miracles for you!

If the Geth were upgraded in your playthought, you did commited genocide.

Nope. I don't care about the tin cans. You call it genocide, I call it better them than me

I prefer peace between both sides. There are already enough Reaper-controlled tin cans to worry about.
