There is no Mass Effect Trilogy, there is only Mass Effect 1 and 2.
So no.

Smart enough to know that there actually is a Mass Effect 3 and that you are an aggresive flamer who lacks the skill to identify sarcasm.
I'd keep the gameplay the same as the original games were. I really hope they don't change ME1 or ME2 to be like ME3. My favorite is ME2 but I don't want people who love ME1 to feel like they're being shafted or treated worse.

aggresive flamer ? not at all it was all sarcasm
For a remaster on PS4 i'd like to see the following...
Mass Effect Trilogy Remastered PS4
- All DLC (Pinnacle Station included)
- 1080p/60fps (or 1080p/30fps but with much more effects, better lighting, just waaaaaaay more detail in the graphics)
- Higher Resolution textures
- More NPCs/Enemies on screen
- Female turians, drell, and vorcha NPCs added to ME1 for consistency
- More tools/options for creating characters
- ME1's combat replaced by ME2/3's
- Correct inconsistent CREATED Shepard facial features when importing from ME2 to ME3
- Model a consistent DEFAULT FemShep face to match across all three titles or use an actual model similar to how Mark Vanderloo was used for default John Shepard (may I suggest "Antje Traue")
- All major glitches fixed
- The option to switch between the original ending, and extended cut for ME3
- More armour customization options (colors/patterns/etc)
- Tweak ME1's inventory screen (not drastically, but in the right places)
- Incorporate newer powers from ME2, and ME3 back into ME1 (biotic charge/tactical cloak/etc)
What do I want? How about releasing the ME3 DLCs on Wii U? lol. Please... Please... Please... did I say please? Please...
No way to second class citizens.
OK. ![]()
Agreed, also there aren't changing the endings ME3 has been out for two years and Bioware have stated multiple times that the EC is the only ending related content they'll release.Expecting anything more than an upscale to 1080p, 60 fps and HD textures plus all the released DLC is just a setup for disappointment. So good luck with that.
Sarcasim aside ME3 is part of the canon and it's here to stay. There is no Mass Effect Trilogy, there is only Mass Effect 1 and 2.
So no.
I agree with Aaron Flyn here. I would like to see:
All the DLC, including Bring Down the Sky for Mass Effect 1.
A seamless experience where you could play the whole series from game to game.*
Maybe with something like The keep for DA: Inquisition...
Two things for me, both highly unlikely despite their awesomeness:
1. All DLC included in off-the-shelf price
2. Local co-op for the entire trilogy. Basically you can have someone who will be playing as one of your teammates for each mission. Cutscenes would be universal. And again, it has to be local. I need a game that I can play with my wife. Not something that restricts me to someone in a completely seperate location.
Something less tedious than the planet scanning in ME2 (because I still want my resources).
Ability to mute the codex.
All the items in Aaron's original list.
have every squadmate killable with high ems
able to buy the toothbrush for Samantha.
have a paragon interrupt for Samantha after horizon
take out the scene with femshep saying I'm sorry and the scene with her leaning against the wall
My list is more like a DIRECTOR'S CUT, but hell, here it goes:
1. HD graphics: 1080p, 60 fps, high resolution and consistent textures for all three games INCLUDING THE CUTSCENES!!
2. Next gen features: improved shaders, lighting, more NPCs (more civilians, more varied models), improved smoke and fire effects, improved physics and special effects in general.
3. More consistent experience: please put female turian NPCs into all three games now that we have them for example. All three games shoud share the most common inventory items: weapons, armors, gadgets just to make the overall experience more lore-consistent.
4. The first game's inventory system needs to be replaced or improved a lot.
5. ME1's explorable planets need a lot more objects, flora and fauna to make them interesting and more believable. Please put more detail into the 1st game: more objects, furniture etc.. It feels pretty hollow as it is now.
6. All DLCs should be included.
7. Improved ANIMATIONS, and facial animations.
8. Cutscenes should use the weapons which are equipped instead of the random ones they use now.
9. More seemless experience: all in one game option - no save import, but direct continuity. Improved facial import system. Actually the whole game needs a better character costumisation system.
10. Fix the glitches, bugs.
11. Some NEW CUTSCENES for all 3 games (especially for the last Earth battle in London - to make it come alive, show us some of the hell happenning down there - make use some of those collected war assetts)
12. Improved SFX. HD sound!
13. And last but not least it would be nice to see some of the material which landed on the cutting floor (especially in ME3) return in the game (cut dialogues, character moments, like the one between Shepard and Anderson in the prologue of ME3). So some new material, just to make things a bit more interesting for old timers.
14. Ok... another one - it is just wishful thinking from my part: maybe some new material for all three games (I'm talking about new missions or mission arcs - DLCs basically).
ME1 would need a lot of work imho, it's not only graphics but the whole gameplay (including weapons, balance, movement, ressource aquiration, Mako driving, credit economy) and last but not least the boring sidequest dungeons that need improvement.
As much as I like ME1 for its story, it wasn't a great game to actually play.
During the memorial, if Shepard dies, the LI puts the name on the wall, looks to the side, and sees Shepard's ghost standing there with Yoda and Obi-Wan, then Shepard turns into Hayden Christensen.
And oh well. Having sex is another problem in the game. Meaning, the lack of sex. As my wife complained of her playthrough, that her Shepard only had twice sex in the 3 years' time the story spans through.
But that's more like video game/film logic. You could just as easily say that Shepard never eats, sleeps, brushes his teeth and why he only talks to crew mates like Garrus (who's meant to be one of his best friends) an average of amount 20 times per game. If they made Shepard do all these 'everyday' things a realistic, average amount of times, each Mass effect game (considering that each games last a few months, I'm guessing) would be full of dull bits. For example, I honestly wouldn't find Shepard talking to his romance about buying new food supplies for the Normandy while brushing his teeth that interesting. I think we assume that Shepard does these acts when we're not playing the game.
not least the boring sidequest dungeons that need improvement.
I'm surprised bio ware didn't get more flak for this. When I play ME1, I actually can't play the side quest's. They seem to reuse the same 2 areas! I much prefer ME3's method of having more fleshed-out sidequests that involve talking to an established character and that actually links in with the story. AND you don't need to waste fuel flying around aimlessly searching every plant you see for sidequests like ME2 does!
Flexible weapons classes.
Restricting weapons works in a medieval setting but it feels restricted with firearms.
All I want to see is:
PC release on Steam (I'm sorry, I know you guys are EA, but Origin is a disaster. I mean you can't even buy all the current Mass Effect DLC on your own store. Now that Uplay is trying to be forced on everybody, I don't want 3 different clients for all my games. And lets be honest. The current consoles are a waste of money.)
1080p/60fps support
All DLC AND all the promotional content. Its ridiculous that PS3 players are the only ones who have access to EVERYTHING.
A consistent femshep from ME3 in both ME1 and ME2.
A consistent custom face maker. So your faces don't become different when moving on to the next game.
Fix ME3's ending.
Do it in 1 engine for all 3 games, this would be the major seller for me! Same graphics, same combat style and same skill progression! One epic long and colofrul experience - how cool would that be?
Fix plotholes and unpolished details. Face the criticism from the community with respect and understanding.
All dlcs and bonuses included.
Polish, improve and expand Multiplayer! - This is something bioware can profit additionally from, if they add multiplayer dlcs.
