I was in Gamestop earlier, and forgot to ask!

Glad there was finally a decision made. Been asking my local GameStop for weeks if they were planning a midnight launch for DAI and they kept saying they didn't know yet (other than saying it had to hit a certain number of preorders).

 

Good. I'd much rather pick it up at midnight than have to wait for them to open at 10am the next day.

Yes sir i'm going.. I called my mall gamestop to make sure.. the guy on the phone said he'll probably be dressed as macho man(for wwe 15).

I work til 11:45, so I'll be stopping by mine just past midnight.  Hopefully not too long of a line, though since I have school the next morning it's not like I can play when I get home anyways.

Nah, wal-mart sends preorders out the day before release so I'll get it before.

I MIGHT. And while I'm freezing, I will be imagining that I am in Haven watching the Breach explode into being in the sky.

 

But if it's REALLY crowded, I might just give up and get it first thing the next day. I mean, I have the pre-order.

Oh I am, GameStop only needs 50 pre-orders before they can do a midnight release (per store location, mind you). Way to many games coming out on that day for it not to be the case. I will be there hands down picking up my copy, got delux prepayed already just waaaitin' for me.

 

...and then I will stream the game till I pass out.. and then again when i wake up and you know, rinse repeat. Which reminds me I should probably write a note to remind me to shower once the games out...

i preordered on my ps4, so i will be at home playing once it hits midnight.  if it wasn't so convenient to download the game, i would definitely head out for midnight release.  i was thinking i might still, just to pick up the guide...but im leaning towards just ordering it on amazon.

Assassin's Creed Unity will be the 11th, so it'll easy the pain for a week.... just a little ity bity. But, oooh yeah I'm definitely picking up a midnighter. Btw... be safe everyone I heard there were fistfights and a gunshot at one Midnight. Can't remember the game, but it was a big title, and no not Destiny, before it.

No. One of the advantages of being PC masterrace is being able to purchase games without having to interact with the hoi polloi at a Gamestop.

I seen something on TV, Most Shocking or something. It was Black Friday, and a security cam watching the front door to a Super Market. There was literally 177 crammed up against the doors. Banging and screaming. There was a shopkeep that was trying to unlock the door and run. He tried a few times, but failed. So he got closer, the door hit him in the face and there was a human avalanche. People just trampled over everyone else. One woman in the dog pile was a 82yo, with a broken wrist, and a 66yo man with four broken ribs. I just shook my head, saying aloud "I'm ashamed to call myself a human."
