Well, actually that was a joke about shep's skills as a driver, but nevermind.
Yeah, so bad that Crashing Skycars, according to Liara, is "Still better than the Mako!"

Given how temperamental the controls were, perhaps they drove up a cliff, flipped a few times and somehow it defied gravity in some way that sent them flying into space, Normandy would go pick them up while they were spinning in space. ![]()

That was almost grounds for divorce.
Liara, you disappoint.

I can forgive her. I remember some of those drives I took the squad on in ME1. ![]()

She's still a little bitter over that time I sent the Mako tumbling down a mountain on Elatania just to get to a prothean sphere.
A setup like this would be pretty frikkin' sweet.
As long as there are no rubber chest-bursters, I'm game. That movie had so much potential.
The new mako?

That looks suspiciously like a Firefly class ship on steroids.
I always figured Shepard would just drive off a cliff and the normandy would just nyoom under and catch it.
A question that was never really addressed in ME1 was how the Mako was supposed to get back on the Normandy. We saw it dropped out of the sky, but never saw it returned to the Normandy. So how is this new Mako supposed to get onto a planet and, perhaps more importantly, how is it supposed to get off the planet?
Flubber
I always thought they should have had some special shuttle to pick it up and land it, like in star ware attack of the clones that would land the ATTE, cause doesn't it seem like that would a little risky to come in a couple hundred feet, I mean have there been any times they did that and the mako landed on ice or unstable ground
Fixed it for you BioWare. The new Mako. Just like the old Mako...
This post needs all the likes.

Shouldn't it be tumbling down the side of the mountain?

Or rolling backwards.

It reminds me of a re-imagined "Eagle" lander from Space: 1999.
Hey now, I done got me some serious air in the Mako, along with finding some shifty looking cows. I dunno what kind of shock absorbers they used in the Mako, but they had to have been made out of unobtanium.
"Are we there yet?"
"This hurts you"
Harbinger controlling the elevators would be especially scary.
"Are we there yet?"
"Releasing control." [elevator crashes to the bottom of the shaft]
