It doesn't happen exactly at the 24 hour mark, it happens sometime within the next 24 hours.

For those curious, you can also get authority by succeeding at Morrigan's Scholarship challenge (assuming you let her stay).

My Market Day took longer than 24 hours... quite a bit longer now that I think about it.

It doesn't happen exactly at the 24 hour mark, it happens sometime within the next 24 hours.

 

 

My Market Day took longer than 24 hours... quite a bit longer now that I think about it.

 

I'm not in a hurry for Market Day! I've been flubbing up a lot.

How/When does one get acquire a lover?

Acquire their favor. And have a certain stat or resource high enough.

Have Abbess as Councilor, you will later have a chance to change her to Lover instead. Bard, just turn in two favors, then immediately made Lover.

Is there something I'm supposed to do now that I finished the first "collect 3 trophies" for the divine's visit? Every so often I get a "case" card that gives me some goals, but otherwise I'm not really seeing any direction on what I should be trying to do, other than getting all my stats in a good spot...

I'm in a similar position, so I spend my time doing the cases and trying to acquire the counselor I want, the Accomplice I want, ect.

What is it best, banish or imprison his Dour Lordship? Which option is better in regard to the physical rewards and which one is more interesting from a story perspective?

I can only recommend that you clear your cookies/cache and wait a bit longer. If after a couple of hours it doesn't work you could report it.

Have 5 market days left, assembled 12 secrets, 2 trophies, 6 viands. Recruited Silent Hunter as bodyguard and Dour Lordship as councillor. I think I'm doing good so far, altough I almost ruined my Marquisate at the beginning of the day two. 

 

My health keeps dropping to 0, but I don't have any bags of Royals to heal with anymore (and honestly, if I manage to get more, I won't bother using them for healing)

 

My Rumors of Revolution are dangerously high, but everything else seems to be OK.

 

I'm playing as the Huntress with the Bard as a lover and the Outlaw as an Accomplice; when the Cheery Baron shows up in my hand I'll make him my advisor now that I have 3 Viands. Getting really tired of failing Derring-do challenges when it's at 54...

 

 

There's a nice little trick to restore health without spending bags of royals: when you go boar hunting choose Provision and with a little bit of luck you should receive the card allowing to use the Provision and heal your character.

Hi guys I have deat with a mission in one of the cards at the bottom ... "The Chantry"... and because of a problem with my browser I couldn't read the final outcome of that mission. I'll ask this in spoiler tags!

I dealt with Shame's daughter and finally decided for the option "present her to the Divine, as a gift to show Serault's regained dignity" or something like that... do you know what happens after I choose that option?

There's one male and one female choice you can pick as either character. The woman you can romance is I believe the abbess, but you have to make her your counselor first (you only see the romance option once you do)

Seems im set for the best ending.

Im most likely continue solving cases and increasing cunning and derring do plus lowering rumors seem to be a good idea

 

P.S. i bought some dawn on day one because i liked the game and used that to go hunting for thropies/vainds and increasing my stats

Collect at least 15 items for the Divine's Visit in order to have a chance at the good ending (or 30 for the potentially best results).

Should be nothing else to do with that situation until the Divine shows up. When she does there will be a card regarding your entry into the Chantry and one of the options is for you to present her....no idea what happens when you do that though since I let her move in instead.

Personally never found one. In fact I found hunting in the Deepwoods to be less efficient. I could complete a hunt in the normal woods in 4 or 5 actions, but deepwoods would make it 6 actions most of the time.

Clearing the cache didn't help in Firefox, but doing the same in Chrome unlocked the next Market Day.

 

I've been reading about people getting Cases in Market Days. Are these the special one-off cards? Because I only got a bunch of Clues from one, not Secrets, Viands or Trophies. Finding it pretty hard to get those. Given I only have 5 more Market Days and I only managed to snag a Bodyguard so far, I'm not sure how I'm supposed to finish this in just 7 days. 5 days now, I suppose.

 

Also, I have terrible luck with hunting. This is the third time I've failed in a hunt and lost a bunch of actions.

Doing good I think, although my menaces are a bit high atm.


My favorite part of the game so far has been chasing after my kidnapped lover in the woods.

Also, I have invited a certain Horned Knight at the Divine's feast. Probably not the best decision... because I'm pretty sure this guy is a spirit.
