Since I was screwed over by the market day card I mentioned, I've been getting continuously kicked in the shins. Still haven't managed to get my rumors of revolution down, and still haven't been able to get my dignity and prosperity back up. THANK YOU BASED MARKET DAY

I don't know how or if it's even possible to start a new game so I'm stuck with a Huntress named Mustache.

If you want to start a new game - go under Prepare for the Divine and you can restart the game there...

Scholar, not sure I'm doing it right however. Been a long, long, one more, long time since I played a text game.

Well, she's Orlesian, so it's undoubtedly a very splendid mustache indeed.

Thank you! Though I'm guessing I have to make some progress in a game for that option to appear? That, or it's right under my nose and I just can't find it.

Indeed it is. Can't expect anything less from an Orlesian.
She takes great pride in her facial hair.

Hmm... No "Restart the Game" option? Maybe you do have to make some token progress in the game...? ![]()

So... Market Day. Does anyone know which of these cards is the most rewarding?
A Terror from the Woods (note my Woods-Wise is only 39)
Flames of Freedom (heard you don't get much out of this)
A Petition from a Village ??? (Headsman?)

I think you might have to do the first "quest" gathering the 3 items? I don't know for sure.
and...
I think I got 2 secrets from Flames of Freedom....and a crap ton of Revolution. Might be worth something when the Divine comes around as I put the crazy lady in the abbey under guard of the Abbess.

2 Secrets for a pile of Revolution. Kinda meh... But... I do have a favor with the Silent Hunter for just such emergencies.
I would like to know if anyone has tried the others though...

Forgot to point out that I did fail one of the rolls though, and I did something I knew would give me Revolution but it never actually gave anything in return though. Just got laughed at by the crazy lady. "People will know you visited her" which apparently equals give me more revolution.
I would do the one that gets you in touch with the Horned Knight (lord of the forest as Mortarion suggests) it was actually quite a fun storylet with some difficult choices to make.

Okay, my *issues* with the Horned Knight have come to a head. And I mean it to be his.
Need some advice!

So far as the Scholar, I have:
The Silent Hunter as my Bodyguard, which is awesome because with favors from him I can get him to reduce Revolution, Peril and an arseload of other bad things way down if I send him on a killing spree.
I have the Smiling Guildmistress as my Advisor and the Pig Farmer as my Accomplice.
My Dignity and Prosperity is maxed out. My Twilight is in the 60s, Peril 9 and Revolution Rumours at 9
But I have no lover and my Health is at 11 so I may die soon. lol.
I've also got few Trophies cuz I keep trading them for favours. Pretty sure at the end I won't be able to impress the Divine.

For those wondering about Flames of Freedom
You're not done if you only got two secrets, as I recall. It does spike revolution way up for a while, though.

I think i got 3 secrets from the questline. The last secret was from the final decision, which was awesome (tip: requires 80 scholarship).

The turn unlocked so I took the sure path (sacrificing health). For those curious, this is the text you get if the Bard is your lover, and you rescue him, but you refuse to take him back afterwards:
Really happy with the writing/story/characterization in this game. They do a lot with just a few lines. Of course this totally knackers my line of advisors because I had them each carefully chosen to balance my stats--now I have to turn to the Abbess for comfort, which means I need another source of Cunning, and the Pig Farmer is maybe redundant now...yeesh. But it's the mark of a good game (to me, at least) that I'm making decisions based on RP reasons rather than stats.

@SIduri: If you like it, then I'd advise you to try Fallen London since it's from the same guys that made this.
Now, on other maters, I got my next Market Daynot sure if to choose the sinister discovery card, cowled visitor, or flames of freedom. OSmeone help me choose?

I banished him, happy with my choice.
Also, I might have his quest mixed up with Flames of Freedom... His is A Tangled Web, isn't it?
