Yes, me too, it'll probably work again in a few minutes. At least it didn't last long the last time. ![]()

For the Flames of Freedom quest, I ended up executing the leader...does anything interesting happen with any of the other choices?

Ok, so I've got 17 secrets, 15 trophies and 16 viands, should I keep farming them? Or this is enough for the best ending?

I've pissed off the horned knight. I'm a little bit afraid about whether there will be consequences. That's the way it has to be, though, my marquis doesn't tolerate upstarts.
Has anybody brought the bard (as a lover) when you went to see the

He "had the good graces to look sheepish" when he mentioned that he hadn't been alone when the Horned Knight kidnapped him, and said it was fortunate that his "travelling companion" was able to bring word to me.

Go hunting. You get a special hunting option while she's poisoned.

So I'm still in my first playthrough of this game and can't seem to find a clear answer: does the game end after the 7 market days have passed? The Divine arrives no matter what after those 7 days?
If we fail the game, does our current character "die" and we have to start a new one (with a new name)? Would it be better to choose to restart the game if it looks like we won't make it?

Yes, the popess arrives after those days - unless you get 2 of the 3 stats (prosperity/dignity/freedom) to 0, or if you get 2 of the 3 bad stats to 100, then she cancel her visit and you lose.
If you fail then you restart, by restarting your old character is deleted (not the achievements, imagine it like in DAO/DA2 unlocking ones) to make room for the new one. So you can pick the same name, restarting the same "character" effectively. It is better that you play the game first to see the ending, so later when you restart you have a better idea of what to do - if you screw up badly, it is also a fun ending with the Divine, so go for it.

Anyone try "A Sinister Discovery?"
Okay... I tried it.
So if 30 McGuffins are what you need for a good ending, I think I'm in good shape now (15 secrets/ 9 trophies / 9 viands).

Thanks for explaining it! To be honest, since apparently no two characters can have the same name, my biggest worry was losing mine after I've become attached to it.
Knowing I can take it again when I replay takes the pressure off. I've actually been really enjoying stumbling through this game, trying to figure out the best way to play through it.
On the topic of names, since they all have to be unique, I'm really curious about what everyone else named their characters. After going down a list of French names and finding them all taken, I finally decided be a bit more silly and pick a French word that isn't really a name. The very first one I tried wasn't taken, so... my huntress is named Chat. She tries to live up to her name by being insufferably self-centered and hunting for food.

I had all three bad stats at 100 for a while because I was hoping to get get those cards that let you drastically reduce them (with clues/authority) for some McGuffins. Wasn't really worth it, just reduce them when you have the chance.
