Can we get the Outlaw as a lover? I keep getting the Smiling Baron and the Pig Herder as cards when I can't really do anything with them

 

Struggling a bit tbh. Trying to get 5 of each Secret, Trophy and Viande but it's difficult. What's the easiest way to get Secrets? I'm okay with the other two, although spamming hunts is getting boring.

Complete cases to get more secrets than you probably need. Side note, 5-5-5 is not a good strategy. You spend the items in multiple of three at the banquet, so 5-5-5 would end you up with 6 wasted items. So if you aim for exactly 15 then you would want a spread of 6-6-3 or 9-3-3. Although it would be best to go for higher amounts. And no outlaw for lover, only the bard and abbess.

 

 

Went with scholar. Doing just fine so far.

 

Currently just rushing prosperity, freedom, and dignity to 100 asap then squashing them down to get the items I need for good ending. Probably about 1/5th of the way there so far. At least 50 in all my stats besides wood wise and derry do, but working on it, almost 50 with wood wise.

 

Silent Hunter as Bodyguard is so overpowered compared to the other cards... or at least it seems that way considering you no longer have to care about whispers (He's like the Dark Wolf) and gain dignity and clues with no cost to you.

 

Have Smiling Guildmistress as counselor and pig lady as accomplice. No lover at this time.

He is clearly bugged as his bodyguard action is supposed to take a favor. Still would be useful if he did though.

 

 

Starting stats is the only difference that I see so far.

I think there might also be stat gain differences between the two in that it is hard/impossible for the Scholar to get high derring-do (gain only one point when training with the Knight to increase it), and I would assume the same is true for the Huntress with scholarship.

Being a scholar, first time training in Derry Do, I got only 1 point, second time I got 3 points, third time I got 1 point. So, I'm at 25 + 20 Derry Do so far.

Scholarship 60+20

Woodwise 46

Cunning 53

 

3 secrets, 7 trophies, 9 viands... and 17 clues, but those are easy to get really high.

So I completed the Chantry Unsealed quest and

You find your aunt, the secret daughter of the Shame, hiding away.  You can have her heal you, ask some questions, and eventually I let her move into the castle with me.  There was the option to exile her, though, along with some other things.

Huntress here.   Think I am doing okay so far.   I guess I will wait for overnight to get enough actions to get some royals.   They don't seem to come up as a reward much for the regular cards.

I always choose the female character. if the only option or best option is male I usually won't play the game. Especially if I hate the male protagonist/s.

I didn't fail on any of my attempts, even when it was "Very High Risk" with 34% probability.  Don't know what happens if you fail. 

And FYI, go in with Bags of Royals and Clues.  You'll need 'em.

Scholar here. I don't understand, do you have a week in real life to solve this game or are you limited to the number of actions you can do before you lose a Market Day? The Divine is supposed to arrive in 7 weeks, it said in the game so I'm not sure what this is about.

Huntress. not enjoying this at all. finding it frustratingly repetitive. probably just going to read the wiki in a few days.

 

This. I'd hoped it would have more interactive elements like browser games like Castle Age or Dawn of the Dragons, but this is essentially a gated story book. I'd rather just read it all at once.

You have 7 market days until the Divine shows up. You get a new market day 24 hours after the last market day you triggered. You can spend as many or as few actions in those 24 hours as you want and the next market day will still come.

I just think they would choose a place away from Inquisition to give themselves more freedom. That said, it's probably a place we can send agents to on the War Table. Maybe we can commission the Skyhold's new windows that way

 

 

I can really see this happening if they had Last Court in the making early enough to add it as a War Table and Skyhold decoration choice.

Market Days pass every 24 hours. It has nothing to do with how you play the game. The hours counting down during hunting are only about your hunting success.
