Are you guys not confident that Inquisition will make money or something? Because the annoyingly long wait times and reliance on microtransactions really ruin what would other wise be a fun little text based game to get us excited for DAI and hold us over. Dragon Age Journeys, which was a 2D flash game didn't even have wait times or microtransactions, so why does this game? Not many people are going to be willing to spend money on this game, most will just forget about it instead. If you guys must keep in the waiting and transactions, at least tone it down form 20 minutes to five minutes.
Why Does The Last Court Need Microtransactions?

Hey everyone, just want to clear up some confusion here:
1. Playing The Last Court is completely optional, and will not affect anything in Inquisition.
2. Using Dawn in the game is also completely optional. You will not miss out on any content if you don't purchase Dawn.
3. The game ends in 7 days if you do not use Dawn to speed up time. It does not continue longer than that, as each market day happens every 24 hours (real-time).
4. All of Failbetter's games come with the option of purchasing in-game currency to speed up time or replenish actions, The Last Court is no different in this regard.
Hope that helps, I'll be around to answer questions here and there regarding The Last Court since I've played it a few times already ![]()

To my knowledge, we haven't communicated that The Last Court would have an effect on Inquisition. It could just be misinformation that's out there.
