That was my initial assumption too, but that threw me off a little, so I've asked for clarification.

The Last Court has been refreshing for me so far. I wasn't tied down to it. I played for a while, went to live my own life, then picked it back up again later. It reminds me of this Nintendo game my friend's girlfriend had. Can't think of the name of it. Anyway, that game gave you a virtual pet that you had to play with every day. 

 

It started getting repetitious but my guess is that as the days go by you'll get more options. Either spend all your resources on quick easy actions or save them up for more complex choices and favors later.

Considering how I'm already going to utterly fail NaNoWriMo from Inquisition being released, I'm kind of glad The Last Court has a way of making me take breaks so I can still take time to write.
