Though admittedly, with addition of MP, ME kinda shoots itself in the foot there. Anybody who has seen what a properly played asari(any of them) can do would think that you don't need an entire platoon... one soldier is enough to wipe the Reaper scourge clean off Thessia :D

You do have a point though. I mean, if the asari would really be as dangerous as the lore portrays them, the game would have ended on Noveria.

Funnily enough, I remember Benezia's fight being one tough fight... and I know I'm not the only one to think so. Crazy how that works...

I've never been interested in MP, but if it has asari - I might reconsider.  :)

I remember that Noveria battle as being the toughest in the game for me.  I would sometimes get stuck in the corner, blockaded by crates that had been lifted or tossed over there biotically.  One time, Shepard was killed by one of them falling on her.  Good times.

The MP is excellent and very addictive. I was never big on multiplayers, but ME3's is the best I've seen/played.

And the Asari kits are some of the best to play imo.

I would post some videos of how a game with an asari looks like(hint, lots and lots of biotic booms :P), but I know you have work to do, so I won't eat away even more of your time :P

However, if you ever change your mind, just let me know

I'm kinda conflicted about posting here. I want their role greatly diminished in next Mass Effect, they are my least favorite race :) Still, they are a part of the universe, so they should be there

Well, I want them back - but I want them to agree that keeping their beacon a secret was criminal (they more or less forced any other race to turn their prothean artefacts in - while keeping a really vital one to themselves -.- hypocrites!) - same for all the other races :)

The Asari surprised me a lot in ME. Before playing it all id seen of them were sexualised, arm candy for the player. But as I started playing and learning about their culture and history, the more they grew on me. They may have started out as just sexy space girls, but they were developed much further than that.
However, if they appear in the NME, then I'd like more focus of the 'graceful warrior' aspects, rather than seedy nightclub dancers.

I think ME3 did a lot in that area, actually. You see and hear about all these kickass squads... Armali sniper unit, Serrice guard... the warriors defending Thessia turn out to be pretty damn dedicated bunch of ladies as well. I think they deconstruct the "just an eye candy" trope really nicely, actually. In fact, I believe an entire race did a really nice growth from the first to the third game and, much like yourself, they became my favourite ME race because of it.

Plus, all the asari in MP are pretty much the embodiment of "graceful warrior" trope :)

That would be a refreshing change of pace. Need more Samaras and far less Sha'iras.

I hope that they do wipe out 2 or more races from the series not because i want anyone to feel bad but i want a sense of loss from the reaper crisis

The billions of dead aren't enough of a loss for you?

It's not like they killed off some of the most beloved characters of series or anything.

I'd be against wiping out whole factions, even as a result of player choices. It's just silly for one. Short of the Reapers actually winning (a.k.a. Refuse) all factions should return in some form.

They will, BW got very lucky with prety much every single race becoming popular and accepted. That's a very hard feat to achieve in sci-fi property, especially new one. No way they'll ditch them.
