Hello everyone (first topic so be nice
), I was just wondering what your opinions if a whodunit mission was implemented in Dragon Age Inquisition, future DLC or in future Dragon Age games. I was thinking of an in depth whodunit mission which would take over an hour to solve or a DLC solely based on this.
I know this has been implemented to some extent in the past with the conspirator mission in Awakenings and Hawkes mother in DA 2 but I feel these missions could have been examined in more depth.
Some ideas that I would enjoy seeing in the future is that a crime has been committed at a location (or multiple locations if ambitious) and the protagonist has to talk to the people and find physical evidence to support his case. The criminal should make us use our brains and not be the most obvious choice. At the conclusion, the protagonist chooses the suspect and whether right/wrong has consequences. I think the setting of Orlais is perfect because of 'the game' culture.
I would enjoy playing a mission like this but what do you think?
